You can do other jobs, but if other company provide you work permit then your fine otherwise you have to find jobs or company who provide you work permit.

Bro, my husband came here on 2020( student visa) . I came here with critical work permit on late 2020. We gone back to India and got married last year. We didn't change husband's GNIB. He is still here on student visa. But it will expire by next month. Actually we don't know the procedure how to change student visa to spouse Visa. We took appointment for renewal..but they are not allowing us to enter inside. He said you can do it in online. Any time spent on student visa, doesnât count towards residency. Only work permit holder stamp counts towards residency. You cannot change the study visa unless you have got the work permit.

If department satisfy with your employment then they will issue you. Its all depends on the department.

Also, I have heard that it takes 3-4 after processing tine fo get pr even if you are eligible affter 2 years?
You can apply for skillsd visa if you wanted to, if you have certain qualifications & experience.
And also you can enrol in PHD program while working, some companies will allow do that. But at the same time, pressure will be high.
After critical skills visa, youâll eligible for stamp 4 after 24 months. Some people are getting stamp 4 in 21-22 months. Good luck đ

You can come on masterâs to uk or Ireland. But spouse wouldnât be allowed as dependent until youâre a student. But whenever you get work permit then your spouse can join you.
