  • We're really excited about the upcoming models of 'Met 1'. Here's an overview of the various sound functions included on the DCC Sound-Fitted models.
    'Met 1' is due to arrive in the UK in Summer 2024.

    What fun! Well done, Rapido - now can we please have some nice Met coaches to go with this beautiful engine? O - and a Met Beyer-Peacock 440T as well would be good...not that I'm being greedy, you understand...

    I'm most excited to see painted samples of the E1s in action. They look to be really detailed models from what I've seen, and one of the umber varients would be a great addition to my collection.

      Totally agree. What one have you ordered? I want four Metropolitan Railway Metropolitan Railway 'E' 0-4-4T, No. 1, Metropolitan Railway Red Livery 1999-2009 Preserved Livery get nice gold bit.

    Very nice, but did they have station announcements like "mind the gap" and "stand behind the yellow line" back when these were running?

      Not in its original working life, a the announcement was introduced in 1968, but I guess its there for if you wanted to run this in a modern setting, emulating a “Steam on the Met” or other one off tour.

    Did an amazing job should be so pounding the sound great. Please keep up good work. As stopped buying Hornby and Bachmann last 3 years. As always get excited do a video or a post. Keep doing SR train and train like this and pre-1923. Please look at the T3 LSWR Green 563 in OO scale and how is at Swanage now.

    You forgot " Due to industrial action this service is closed" the the audio announcing " Everyone out" and "we want a 60% rise"
