Now I'm watching a video about private owner British wagons (including 7 plank ones) and making a joke about the books that inspired the show, which I've begun to experience for myself over the past few months. Model railroading and the Reverend Awdry's creations continue to delight me to this day.)

Congratulations on a great presentation video for the S160s they look fantastic with all the different detailing on them .My only worry is the motor must be teally good for such a big engine as this.I only say that as i had a lot of problems with my 15xx loco i purchased and the mtor was terrible i hope the motors on these big boys are good enough forvthem but looks a great model.I will purchase one but will holdback until i see the running qualites of the loco but well done Rapido

Just thought I'd put this comment here, as it seems like the relevant place to put it, and also I have recently purchased the DC/Silent variant of this model in the 2013-2020 condition. I think it is fair to say that this is currently the best tank engine I've seen on the model railway market to date. My speciality in modelling is mostly the Isle of Wight railways, However my Grandparents used to live and work around London frequently catching the Metropolitan railway to get to and from work or home, most likely catching this train at least a few times in their lives to do so before moving out of London and into Essex, in the late 1950s, meaning it was a small sentimental purchases for me, So I really appreciate you guys choosing to make this engine. The model itself is amazing, full of features and just all round good quality. Quite possibly the best Tank engine locomotive I have seen on the market to date.

Maybe it's the video but the sound is terrible. No bass.

I think it would sound better if they didn't use a cell phone speaker other than that I love the model.

Rapido is rubbish ive had to send my sound fitted ncb 15xx back 5 times for various reasons and failures its not qorth it ive had 5 models and 4 out of 5 have been crap

Will you be selling the sound decoders separately? I have a DC-ready version on order from Locomotion but kind of wishing I'd ordered one with sound.

I am hoping the DC version makes it to my local full service hobby shop where i put a long standing order in for one. Specifically at Branchline of Croydon in suburban Melbourne Australia.

For nearly $600 I just couldn't justify buying the sound-fitted version. But damn this makes me almost regret not doing so.
