I love all of this with the exception of the deployment pull cable running over the control wire inspection plates with tape. There has to be a better solution for that part of the install.
Good point. We do more with our current installations to avoid that.

We don't do ultralight installations. BRS has many systems available. Basically, you would plan your own installation and then purchase the chute, rocket and hardware from them. brsaerospace.com/brs-ultralight-catalog/

can you put a parachute system inside a CESSNA 150? Its a aerobatic plane? If so how much would it cost? And how much you charge to repack the parachute ? 😃
Thx for sharing this. 2 questions: 1) Does BRS plan to make one for 210's? 2.) Is there any coating or composite spacer between original aluminium and new steel brackets to prevent galvanic corrosion at contact points? Cheers.
There is no system for the 210. The plates are treated with something, likely an anodizing for steel.

The only certified aircraft for aftermarket installation are the Cessna 172 and 182.
Has this system (or can this system) be installed on a low wing aircraft such as a Piper Cherokee 180?
I know I’m speaking for this company, but I know the answer to this is no. I did a lot of research on this. If you go onto BRS website, they list every airplane that you can retrofit one on. As far as four place airplanes, you are limited to Skyhawk and Skylane, as well as RV10 and few others
Sorry. There is no STC for the Cherokee 180. Great plane though. I love flying them.

What's the percentage of the parachute system can fail (does not open)? If that ever occurs is there any secondary parachute in the box?
By the way I love this idea! these parachutes would make a flight feels much more safe & appealing for people who has a fobia of dying a crashed airplane. I wish all flight schools compulsorily install them.
I get asked a lot about why you would need a parachute in a Cessna. Can this be put on a C210 or C206?
Soon for the 206 but not for the 210. I spoke with the CEO of BRS in January 2021 and they were going to restart the 206 certification. They worked in the 206 STC a while ago but suspended its development. I don't have any kind of ETA but I know it is in the works again.
