Every year on the last Saturday night in March, the clocks in the UK are adjusted from GMT to British Summer Time. This rather dark and shaky video is my effort at recording my contribution to this yearly excercise. - Věda a technologie
Props to this guy, who's still hearting comments 10 years late
And why not? My channel's still active, my clocks are still active, and... I'm still active!

Idk why but for some reason
1. I always remember this video
2. I'm addicted to this video.
My childhood… I am glad that this video is nostalgic for other people too and especially that you are still active! Keep up the amazing work, Tommy!

As a kid I was interested in Clocks with a mechanic clockwork. I still like clocks to this day. 8 years ago i watched that Video so often because of the chimes. A few days beforehand I was on a nostalgia trip and was trying so hard to find this videoI ! dont know how but 8 years later I have yet found this Video in my recommendations again. Thank you for being a part of my childhood with this Video. Regards
Best clock video ever made
WOW!! thats so COOL!! never heard the..whittington chime played on bellows.usually you hear this on keywounded grandfather clocks and keywounded wall clocks and mantle clocks...lovely clock collection:)
@Raph CJ thats a different chime not sure which one that is,i was mentioning the one when the first start the video that's using cuckoo clock bellows with a spring driven movment.
That must be your favorite day of the year!
7:39 That clock is really cool!
I always watched this as a child, I remembered this video just a week ago but forgot to search for it, i'm so glad I found it again!!!
There will be a brand new follow-up at the end of March this year.

This clock is great!
Absolutely beautiful collection.
I love your collection🥰❤
The first clock looked like it had bellows like on the cuckoo clocks but played chime melodies. Pretty cool.

Ha ha, yeh right.
Wow, a nice collection of clocks you have. Greetings from Ireland 🇮🇪

I envy UK, your country have many antique clocks and still can obtained not too expensive in flea market. Here in Indonesia, if I want to import my favorite antique clock I must pay shipping cost from UK, Netherlands, US, etc and sometimes there is import charge. That's a huge sum of money I must spend when I see beautiful clock on ebay or other online shop.

Tbh I feel bad for you Indians, you have to live with a retarded blue cat with no ears
I live in the UK. Many of my clocks were bought here, but I have also imported ones from France, Germany, the US, and China.

I love your collection! Very eclectic. The custom Whittington Bellow clock fascinates me
É verdade
nice clocks man, can i ask a question with the ones that chime would of it been easier to turn the chimes off if possible to change the time ?
Wat a beautifull collection
I used to watch this video when I was a kid And I’ve got my own collection
@sooth15 Thanks Sooth15, the first is indeed a Seth Thomas, and unusually I obtained it in the UK. The second clock you mention has a locally built case and a movement by Waterbury.
What kind of clock is that Tommy Wylie? 0:02
0:52 clock sounds like a vintage westlox alarm clock
You have a nice clock collection.

Respect the guy for having to hear all the chiming in the middle of the night
I like your clocks tommy!
this sounds like home to me all my clocks are running and I love listening to them.
Love the clocks!!
Hi Tommy Wylie, have you a separate Video of the first one with the cookoo voices ?
Well in this room there are 30. I estimate between 35 and 40 in running order, with more still waiting to be completed.
Dude the second clock that you were changing had this Sam
It is a French wall clock. "Sam" is short for "Samedi" which means Saturday in French. :)
I got a kick out of the first clock!
Love your clock⏰
The clocks I still have from GMT to BST (2011) are: the first one, the Junghans at 1:15, the Philip Haas at 4:14, the Chinese ship's clock at 6:31, the grasshopper clock at 7:35, the Smiths alarm clock at 8:35, and the Kienzle next to it, although the Kienzle now has a broken mainspring.
Ok. Thanks for letting me know!

I love the first one soooo cute!
Oh, ok. Thank you. Since I live in Florida, I'm used to Eastern Standard Time, not Greenwich Mean Time. Or British Summer Time...
Hello I love the chimes on that large mantle clock at 3.32 What are theycalled please ?. Also the first clock very unusual organ clock with whittington chimes. Amazed how you managed to reset all those clocks in 9 minutes . It takes me nearly that long to alter the 12 clocks I that I have.
1:34 i love this clock
Que lindo!
when im 10 im always watch this
The first one was my favourite. It sounds and looks very cute and gentle.
The second one is 3:33!!
That first click you was setting is nice. Is that considered to be a grandfather clock? I asked because it has cuckoo clock bellows playin the chimes.
Super
I bought it on ebay for 99p! I then did some small repairs on it and sold it for £16! It's a Doldonia 30hr clock from Germany, 1920s.

Nice melody
I was not expecting a bathroom clock 😂
The chimes on the British Anvil clock are a one-off with a wooden chime barrel, with no known name, sorry. The case is in great need of some stain and polish, and I might get round to it someday...
The organ clock as you refer to it, is my own construction using spare cuckoo bellows attached to a Haller dual chime movement with threads. Set to Westminster it sounds hopeless!
Thank you Tommy , It is a wondeful chime.I expect you have polished the case by now.
3:37 This napoleon clock has always interested me ever since I started following you. From what I've seen the chime barrel is actually redone by you. Did you redesign it to play the same melody as the original chime barrel or did you make a new one completely on your own? If it's the latter, I applaud you for making a great sounding tune. It gets stuck in my head occasionally! :)
I believe you said something about this clock still being in your repair queue in a previous video. Is that still the case? It's be great to hear it once again in a better quality! c:
It's on the bench at this very moment! I hope to have it ready for display by the middle of the month, maybe earlier.
@@TommyWylie That's great to hear. I look forward to that!
@@TommyWylie OMG!!
@$"!#^
@@TommyWylie Do you have it as of now?
It's Chinese, the trade mark is "555", and I bought it on ebay locally in the UK. I have no idea how much it cost, I think it was around 20GBP. The calendar display is in Chinese. They aren't particularly common, do turn up occasionally on ebay. About four to five years ago they were on sale in the USA with the days in English, so I think they were still being made fairly recently.
Yo
The mantle Dat played waves of blue iz amazing
Is there a specific name or type of clock for the first clock in the video. I've never seen one like that, and my son loves it.
This clock has build Tommy by himself
Wat is tha multipull whistle clock maker where waz it made and wat time period waz it made .just amazing

I used to watch this when i was 4 i love clocks! I now have a cuckoo clock a real one Majak!
And 2 bim bam mantle clocks...
Clocks with melodies (like westminster) are hard to get in slovakia and i really want one!!!😢
4:01 What chime is that?
It took me a lot longer than nine minutes, but that's the wonder of video editing!
And did you know about the grandfather clock that chimes like that?
It’s best for me to hear that clock struck at noon.

The case was made locally, the movement is by Haller, and the cuckoo bellows were bought and assembled by me.

yeah the trinity chimes are one of my favourite
I love the wall clock at 7:57 also. Where and for how much did you buy it? Is it german? A rather unusual clock!
It’s clickable now. 7:57.
It’s by the company doldonia. I used to own one. Not very valuable but beautiful piece, yes it is german
This has to be the coolest clock collection. How many clocks do you have?
Probably 57
I used to buy and sell on antique clocks myself a while back, but I've got to say I've never seen anything like the first clock you feature in this video. Who manufactured it? On another matter I see you've opted for the easy transition point of GMT to BST lol and not the reverse lol I would love to see you video all this at the other end of the year my friend.
Lol I think it’s custom made,
