Love you, Joe Deery and Mike"The Fresh Rinse" Carmondy's channels. I've been learning a great deal from y'all. We are 3rd season in and phone is ringing everyday. We have to upgrade from the 5.5 honda to an 8 gpm. Talked to Russ Johnson today. The Honda 8 gals are on back order until who knows when. I ordered the 3500 GP pump, K7 unloader with mounting block and whip, red spray gun, skid and belt drive components today. Picked up the Predator 670 with a 2 year warranty from Harbor Freight this afternoon for 1000k out the door. Trying to locate a local 270 gal. tank. I hope to house wash with the 5.5 while surface cleaning with the 8...probably have to double feed the tank.
Great install in this series. The flat work is where you will see the biggest improvement in time. If you run both at once, hope the water supply can keep up.
How come you want the water to flow down the side of the tank? And how come some use trublu on pressure fittings and some don’t. Thanks for the video sir
I only run my feed fitting below the water line at the bottom of the tank. I chose Tru Blue because I rarely change these fittings. You can use teflon tape if needed. Thanks
What is the cost for the Honda ig800 ' the cost for the gear box' What type of gear box and the cost' does the pump and gear box comes individually/ does Honda does manufacture those IGX 800 with reductions gear boxes.
Thanks. I bought the Honda IGX800 & muffler from North Georgia Airless. I bought the Udor pump, skid & hose for plumbing from Sprayer Depot & purchased the unloader from Southside Eq. The odds & ends pieces I purchased locally. Hope this helps & reach out if I can assist. Thanks again for watching.
Awesome 👏!! Great Test successful! I got a question sir ? I like that small ward with that m5 twist , how long is it and where can I find one at ? I appreciate your content as always
LOL. I was a little nervous because I never ran a gear driven pressure washer before. I was also excited because it has been in the works for a while. Thanks
Hi, Question: is the K1 any different then the K7? Also was your pump inlet 1/2 or 3/8? I purchased an older Honda GX690 3500 @ 8.0 gpm but the pump has a 3/8 inlet. Would it matter? I want to replace the factory unloader. Just deciding which one to purchase. Can you help? Thanks, Michael C - (WA)

@@commandcleanpressurewashin8386 I would like to build another 5.5 gear drive unit with a Honda GX630. The main reason is being able to pull fuel from my fuel tank, The 4 GPM is a gravity fed system.
@@allproexteriorservicesllc5338 yeah you would think that the 5.5 gpm is not the much of a difference but I had a 4 gpm and just got a 5.5 and it's a big difference so I would you can even put a 5.5 pump the on 4 gpm all you got to change is the pulleys and pump
As long as the line is primed with water it will def pull..just have to keep an eye on the level..we installed an automatic shut off when the water level drops near the bulk heads, it turns the machines off.
You might as well throw that filter away. It needs to be fitted so the bowl is at the bottom to catch any dirt. Totally pointless having it there. Sorry to rain on your parade, but having your pump that high means it wont suck water once the water level is at the same level as the pump. I realize it has a mesh strainer inside, but then the trapped particles floats to the bottom of the bowl & stays there . Good luck.
Congratulations on The BEAST!!!!! U put a lot of work in, all the beat with it!!!!
Thanks!! It was very satisfying to finally get it running.

Thanks!!! Fortunately, we have pretty good pressure and floe from our water sources. I may end up carrying a little more.

The IGX800 was around $1500 when I purchased it. Honda does not make the gear box or pump. The gear box came with the pump from Sprayer Depot. Thanks

Hell yeah!
work of Art i say!!
i plan on same type of setup but i really liked your pump support idea...
i did the same thing with a 10GPM and a 4GPM only i use a 35 gal tank to feed the 4GPM it was less of a headache for me anyway
Not a bad idea. I may end up changing my pump to a 5.5. Thanks

What is your choice for rust/red clay stain removal on centerblock
One restore or Muriatic acid. Always test a spot first.
NICE RIG 🤘🙂
Thanks

Hi,
What was the final psi on your 8.0 gpm after making your adjustments?
Right about 3,000 PSI. Thanks
What diameter is the flexzilla on the softwash reel?
We run 1/2" for the 12 volt & AR45 gas pump. Thanks
Question, with the pressure washer sitting that much higher than the water outlet It doesn’t cause any cavitation?
No, the gear drive pumps pull water with no problems. A direct drive unit may not be able to pull water. Thanks
did you have to run return line back to the gas tank for any gas that gets aspirated from the fuel injection system ?
No, they do not have a return fuel line for fuel injection. Thanks
Love those videos .Nice job

That gear drive creates suction too??

you need a breather valve on your big pump replace red for yellow

I am going to test as soon as my new tips come in. Very excited!! Thanks

You must not understand how a Y strainer works, There is a screen inside that catches any particles. You can put it upside down if you wanted,
get a 2" drop for hitch ball. rai.er will sit level.
I need to do that. The benefit of a little lean to the back is my pick up tubes in the fuel tank. Thanks
