this is the most excited ive been for a new season since we went from season 0 to season 1. i just hope that with it bringing in a load of returning players the servers can handle it. and i hope there aren't too many bugs spoiling the experience of what should be a pretty major point for apex.

It wasn't mentioned but I am very much looking forward to 120hz on console finally. Regarding the actual additions to the game I am excited to see the different shield perks and how they play out overall.

Mannn I'm so excited for the new season. The most I've felt for a new season in a while. The 99 getting another BP reactive is odd but hope it looks cool!
If you wanna check the reactive out then check the dev diary from respawn on yt, it was shown for a few frames at around 10:10

Hopefully this will boost the player count again, even though respawn has been neglecting the game, this season seems to change a lot and make things more interesting and exciting again

This is cool. Haven’t played apex since season 15. Game was just more frustrating than fun. Played it since season 0. Might give it another shot. I’m really enjoying the finals rn though.

Super excited. Every time they changed ranked I get a little annoyed ngl. But this feels like it will be a whole new game this time around. With some of the better parts we’ve enjoyed from the past. Can’t wait to see how it plays out.

Seems like they really want players to get more aggressive. I just got my teammates to stop shooting at other players from longass distances and giving away our positions, but now they are going to go nuts.

So if everyone is starting at 0 in ranks, does that mean first few days there will be diamond and preds in game at the beginning of the season?
Yeah first few days will be kinda fucked up but by week 2 most good players will be in platinum already

I personally don't understand why the reactive skin goes to the r-99 as it already has one... It honestly should've been given to a completely different weapon so that eventually every weapon get its own reactive skin THEN maybe they can give out new reactive skins for the same weapons or something.

The damage has been done, I quit around 10 seasons ago and there's nothing they can add that will make me fully come back to Apex ever again I've moved on from that and have been enjoying Fortnite but I stick around because I enjoy Stay's content
I may log in once or twice every few months to play some control mode just because I want to mess around on Wattson to place some nessies and do some fun fence plays and stuff but I'm never putting myself through that pure hell again when it comes to wasting so much time everyday on their terrible daily/weekly challenges just to complete the battlepass when 80% of it is absolute junk that I didn't even care about to begin with besides the level 100-110 weapon skins
Fortnites challenges are actually fun to do while Apex's seem to trap you into a certain playstyle for that day and if you don't play that playstyle then you can't complete the challenges and it's just dumb and I spent more time queueing into a game than actually playing the damn game with how sweaty everyone is and I started back in season 1 and it's still majorly difficult not to mention all the strikepacks and cheaters I saw on a weekly basis... of course it was only 1-2 cheaters but still its the point they were way more common on Apex than most other games I've played

I think it’s great that Apex is steering away from the shield swapping meta. For me as a veteran player, it was super frustrating to crack someone’s shield just for them to get it back immediately from a shield swap. The Evo shield change is great. We needed something like this to make armor evo’s more rewarding.
They will still be able to get their shield after you crack them. They just go into a loot box and get a shield core. The only thing they can’t do is get a purple shield if they have a blue. It will just fill up the blue
@@ig0ty0ur6ix4 Yeah I guess but it still feels like this may limit the shield swapping stuff. Before it was rediculous the amount armor there was.

The system is a complete mess 👎👎👎👎 PC players kill you with only 2 shots
As the #1 mirage on xbox for wins, this change is nothing but a desperate attempt to bring a player base back. Its a waste of time the devs don't know the right things to focus on that mainly caused a large amount of players to toss the game to the side 1 mainly being the aim which is absolutely dog water and so unbalanced its not even funny. Pc is a point and click move around in deathboxes cheesy platform who thankfully have to stick to there own platform because let's face it pc players cheat at everything now most of the time. Playstation and xbox cross platform was the worst thing to ever happen to apex the game already was not to great with all its issues and bugs but once cross-platform came we get Playstation players with increase aim assist and less recoil over xbox. Shooting xbox players around corners they already ran around and throw closed doors as if they just had a far better and faster frames than xbox. It's takes a whole clip plus (not counting head shots) to kill or come close to killing a PS player if your on xbox when you hit your shots. But when Playstation shots xbox players they die in pretty much half a clip its like all Ps bullets register on contact to xbox but not all of xbox bullets register on contact to ps. This has been a trending problem talked about for as long as cross-platform has came out and as a result the game has ps and pc players on it not and very little xbox. So clearly it was a bad idea to make 3 different versions of the same game on all platforms. Yet they want the game to last the next 30 years year right, not even in their dreams better games in their beta are coming out and beating these clowns. Imagine a trash dev team that allows increase aim assist on a platform over another platform. Now imagine that aim assist added to these clowns who also have increase aim assist and less recoil in the game when you account is newer to help level out the advantages against the better players because you have the worst matchmaking in video history to just put newer players with more newer players. Just leave a unskilled skill game for trash kids thinking they are good at a game they really are bad at and should be practicing to get better at not being given a free way out
As cool as this is. The core issues are still gonna be bad. I give this game 2 years max if they don’t fix it.
