Ghana encompasses Kingdoms and other territorial rulers. We accepted to come together as one nation. That doesn't mean that we have dissolved over Kingdoms. It's and arrangement different from that of Europe where they abolished certain rulers. Over here not one rulers conquered all the territories. So there has to be an arrangement. That is a Republic with Kingdoms. It is those who don't know or understand who argue that there are no Kingdoms. Why is that the government buy lands or beg for lands for development. So chiefs like Dormaahene don't understand the system they claim to be working for. There is no doubt that Dagbon is a kingdom as well as others.
