- With Super Mario Bros. Wonder on the horizon, I figured before we enter the new generation of 2D Mario, we should have some fun with what came before, since New Super Mario Bros. shaped mine, and presumably, your childhoods too.
New Super Mario Bros. Wii being my favourite in the series is the game I am tackling today with the twist being, I cannot eliminate any enemies. Can I succeed in this challenge? Let's find out.

I mean, the method behind the allowance of harm to the Koopalings and Bowser is that they're still alive so I don't think that that ruling is correct@@maisie28_
I mainly allowed the harming of bosses since I have no choice but to fight them in order to continue. While it’s technically true that I can’t kill a Koopa by just simply jumping on them, i figured allowing that would’ve made levels like World 2-2 a bit too easy, so I chose to not allow myself to do that to make the challenge a bit more spicy for myself.

You should also do this with other Mario games as well (including the upcoming and likely mediocre Super Mario Bros. Wonder).
Also if an enemy dies from the flagpole, it DOES count as a player kill (as the player gets points for their deaths just like they would for killing an enemy directly).

@@JoelTheParrot Yeah I am still willing to see a pacifist run. Also, next time you do a pacifist run, make sure to count enemies that fall into lava and enemies that die when beating the level as player kills.
