fun fact: Dino Merlin (from 1999 and 2011) wrote Bosnia's national anthem after they split from Yugoslavia (though I think it was changed in the late 90s after the war)
also the guy from 2004 was the bald guy in 2016 lmao

The songs in 1993 and 1994 sing about the war in Bosnia. The performers in 1993 had to escape besiged city of Sarajevo through an underground tunnels. Their conducter could not make it out of the city and the Irish conducter stepped in to help. The song sings about the resistance and the coreography is there to reflect that. The song has very powerful lyrics, and its a letter of a man stuck in Bosnia trying to let his lover know he is safe and well.

Honestly Deen from 2003 was an icon considering that Bosnia is still a very conservative country to this day. He probably got so much hate, and he was a big star in Bosnia at the time, being part of a Backstreet Boys type of group, where he was the diva with the voice of the group.

The first song was based on the war in bosnia that was happening and he went to sing that song that was called sva bol svijeta (all the pain in the world) and its says in the song all the pain in the world is in bosnia tonight
