I remember all those finds. Great compilation. My favorite was the King Richard.
That is the dream dig. Amazing

Good lord John! I never get tired of watching you did the good stuff! That gold hammered next to the tin can had me falling off the chair!!! I actually believe I was excited watching as you were finding it! My sincere Congratulations Sir! You deserve it! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Would Love to see the straightened out full Noble!! Any updates!?
That's what keeps us all looking
I bet those are codes you’ll never forget. Each coin sample has its own unique code that once you learn it you start to look for that code during every hunt!
That's what dreams are made of 👍
SWEET. Blessings, my Scottish Detectorist friend. Gold finds are truly joyful events. I’m happy to see that your channels growth continues.
First time it's seen day light in how many centuries? Incredible finding that old gold
Incredible isn’t it…. Almost 600 years old!!
@@thescottishdetectorist must be nice to be from a country with that history :) my ancestors are from Scotland the surname is Golightly they came to the United States in the early 1800s
Im always surprized ( but shouldnt be) at how bright gold is when dug up. Probably much more lush in person .
Favorite itmes, the gold coins and the early silver Crown. Who doesn’t love big silver?

Just found this compilation!! Congratulation!, BEAUTIES !!
Just found this. The beautiful fields of Perth indeed. Magnificent Scotland. Brilliant finds. It must feel incredible holding such an ancient coin in your hand. Who on earth would drop gold and silver coins about? Had they had a wee bit too much whisky?
We can only dream 😁
Wait until you see what Albert found today. It blows this out the water 🤩
Wow . Saying I’m jealous is an understatement. Great job!

Many thanks Hans, glad you enjoyed
I'm absolutely delighted for you, I'm in Ireland and was thinking of buying a metal detector and giving it a go, but this is about you what a fantastic find, good luck in the future.
A friend of mines found a Celtic Stater his first time metal detecting
Great Compilation, seen all the videos of all the coins found and could watch them over and over, but I must congratulate you on the wealth of knowledge you have on the coins and history of them, well pleased! Now I know were to come for information.
Four gold coins, two gold hammered and a partridge in a pear tree and I'll bring a metal detector in case of foul weather 😉👍
Haha 😂
Congrats 👏 gold ✨💛.
Thanks 😊
great finds , as many , would like to see the hammered unfolded , although you can see it's got a crack in it already.. but with gentle heating and low pressure .. I'm sure it will look amazing..
awesome gold coin!
Glad you enjoyed
What a fantastic compilation buddy. Really pleased your gold coins are in such good condition & not ploughed up ,like some. Love the Richard II hammered. Has your friend had his possible gold noble unfolded.? Great stuff. Bless up 👊
Glad you like Nick
Museum still has the gold noble and no info at all from them 😔
I would press that bent medal in a vice between two blocks of soft wood, using gradual pressure
after it's broken it becomes worthless, so it has to be professionally done -and even folded it's still an interesting object!
I have sovereigns that I've purchased, but just watching them detected from the soil is something very different.
New to your channel and just subscribed. Excellent finds, happy hunting!
So that folded coin what did it turn out to be? I know Cleggy sold a hug coin like that for 4800 pounds. I wonder if it was similar to his?
Any idea what the lead figurine at 17:30 turned out to be?
I just love your show,I subscribed,Iechydd dda from Wales.cheers.
Thanks David. Welcome aboard and see you in the next dig!!
@@thescottishdetectorist Lovely stuff cheers
Quality
Sure looks jewelry grade 24k!
question ...Georgian Amateur Minstrels ...singing group in the early 1900s ....I am named after two fellows ....my Great Uncle Andrew Grieve McGlashan and his buddy Dave Wightman ...Dave belonged to this group...do you have any idea or have heard of them .,,..Edinburgh or Glasgow
I’m afraid that’s a new one on me David. Sorry but happy hunting
STILL THINK Martins hammered is a contemporary forgery and if so it’s rarer than a real one hope we get to find out 😁
Still at the museum and no quick answer coming but I’d love to see it unfolded
📽️🔥🔥🔥🔥💪
Great video I enjoyed it catch you on the next one. United States 🇺🇸
Many thanks 😊
Let me reference back to the large lead figure on its steed. Look at the hat the figure is wearing. Now I have seen this before, was it on a little person or larger? I don't remember, so give it a long look, then try the internet, the answer is out there somewhere.
So what is the carrot of a coin like that? Are they all 24k?

Glad you enjoyed Beth! See you on the next find hopefully 🙏
So who can straighten a tacoed gold Noble? Is that even possible?
There’s a guy in England, a retired jeweller who can do it
