I don’t like the fact that you’re making fun of people from Arkansas. I live here in the way that you were talking is not the way that we talk. Be respectful of people and stop making fun of them. This is a nice place to live and everybody respects everybody and tries to do what they can in the state to help their community.

I've lived here for over 30 years. It used to be a wonderful quiet hometown, but ever since the film festival came to town they have torn down most of the historic areas, and priced residence out of thier own homes. You love it but for those of us who live here the changes are really just very sad. The quiet is gone and the crime is up. People like myself have been pushed out to the fringe of town just to find not just quiet but affordable housing. Just sad to watch your home taken over and then be pushed out of it...

Bigger events coming to small towns are what ruins a good town, to crowded city's terrible traffic and drivers coming from out of state and not to mention the awful housing market going on because of so many people moving to the area. Driving out locals and making so many of them homeless including myself have been for over a year and just now waiting to get into a 975 sq ft apartment for almost a 1k a month in Springdale... New people to the area must be enjoying it but for us who have been born and raised here cannot say the same.

I get resistance to change but the same people gripping about change are also bragging about how much money their kids are making in the local tech start ups or corporate life.
There are many factors that make up NWA’s growth not just the Walmart, Tyson & JB Hunt Anchors.
Did someone say crime is up? 🤦🏼‍♂️ you don’t have nice communities like this when crime is going up. All our police, in every town, are pretty phenomenal. Crime is way way down from the 80’s & 90’s. The fact that everyone & their grandmother carry’s a gun doesn’t hurt.
Fact is we will all be dead 💀 in the future. We are doing our part in NWA to leave it better than we found it.

Different strokes for different folks. And, I like this Flower shop, the people who work in there are really nice. And, it smells good in there, too. I know your beautiful wife likes flowers! On special occasions you can buy her a flower or a bouquet from the grocery store. Or, a gas station. Or, ... Treat her with a symbol of your love! It's for her, not you ... Or, is it? Buy her some flowers and see her reaction, your reward!

"What a town should look like".
Actually, we liked it before many historic houses were torn down and replaced with brownstones and ugly brick monstrosities. Its not home anymore. And the pretentious vendor newcomers...they think it's fun to make fun of the local natives. Up yours, Walmart.
