Your Siege of Vraks series is the best series on CZcams hands down. I remember seeing some guys play Warhammer back in the 90s in a little comic book shop when I was like 10 years old. Always thought it was the coolest thing I had ever seen but never knew what it was. It's been really cool getting to finally discover Warhammer 40K now in my late 30's. Thank you for the awesome stories and all your hard work.

Honestly when you said you're making a lore video per month I was impressed. For the quality of your content, I do not think that's absurd and I prefer a well researched work to one that is rushed out to please the algorithm. I'm also glad you still getting a bunch of other side project done and will give a small Patreon contribution.

We have seen all of the sliding artwork used by most channels. The mapping sets you above the rest and really help show the battles and events that occur. Keep up the great work and may more success follow you.
2024 let’s go! Also I’d say continue the Horus heresy you do it better and cover more lore and in the end the lore is so good! Also my girlfriend wanted to say thank you for animating the drums well for your sabaton video! Also can’t wait for the Board game! Was in the first 24 hour backers, would love to see a few more videos of the game being played!

I'm gonna stop you right there mate. If you can make something almost half an hour long, animated, researched and scripted every month... that's incredibly impressive. I really wish we'd gotten your old vision of an animated battle, but I'm kinda glad you ended up going in this direction. Guides on cosplay, lore videos and beautifly scripted descriptions of battles all make for a channel that's fun to listen to. Plus, you're doing the emperor's work: Before this came out, the most comprehensive guide on Vraks was from Arch. And he's... yeah.

Honestly, it's better to focus on quality rather than quantity for these complex video. Your work does an excellent job at making sense of a lore that is otherwise just fucking nuts. Listening to your Horus Heresy videos helped me better understand what I've been hearing in the audiobooks!
You're genuinely one of the best WH40k channels I've found and the amount of effort you put in for a single person and the quality that comes out of it is staggering, one video a month is honestly always been more than reasonable to expect from a one man team. You're Vraks content re inspired a joy for WH40k for me. The waits are worth it so keep up the amazing work

Frankly I think that the wizards and warriors videos are not even remotely close to yours not only in terms of the narrative part that kept me glued to the screen in all your episodes but also on the animation part and Bro you do practically everything yourself and you also do other things in life so my sincere congratulations you are carrying out the coolest WH40K project on CZcams from every point of view and I prefer to wait a month for your video rather than see a hundred facts from those who, despite a team, do them worse than you, you're great, continue like this

I'm more than 30 books into the Horus heresy.
You are amazing for even attempting to create an animated lore series on it.
The best thing about if you had any "errors" in your retelling of the Horus Heresy, there are so many books and several of them tell different perspectives of the same event, that GW itself has sadi "yeah, it's supposed to be contradictory. The Horus Heresy was a really crazy and confusing time, and things that people witnessed one way could have been witnessed in a different way by other people there."

when I started watching, I wasn't expecting much, but you gone far past any expectation I've had for Lore/Animation videos.
It doesn’t matter if u release videos inconsistent cause we love your animations and how well done they are. Also u can really be proud of how great u do those videos and how great everything looks in the end. I am already looking forward how the video of this year will turn out :)
Love the channel. Maybe do the sage of Tara to finish the horus heresy. The start of the 13th black crusade would be an amazing animation. A short animation on how the death core annihilated a hive city with artillery would be amusing as well. Keep up the good work.
I did look into the deathkorps bombardment on Derondii but unfortunately there doesn't seem to be enough source material to work with. Its literally 1 paragraph lol

Your HH videos were a little weird for me because I was not at all excited about the announcement but I still watched all those vids in one sitting and was really in the moment while I was watching them
Having read all the Gaunt's Ghosts books I would love for you to do a few of the battles of the Sabbat Worlds Crusade. Balhaut or Verghast would be incredible. Hell all the battles are SO well written I just don't know how well they lend themselves to your style of lore documentary

honestly, I think you can't find better than the imperial armor books for this style of series. Even if those are less central conflicts in the lore, the detail makes for a really fascinating setting. Maybe Taros next ? ^^

You've been doing awesome work on the Siege of Vraks so far, and I am looking forward to both the completion of that series and your new material; the new cinematics sound very interesting. Congratulations on the Kickstarter, by the way.
Speaking of future projects, do you think you might also cover other Imperial Armor Campaigns? I'd love to see your rendition of the Taros Campaign, the Doom of Mymeara, and the Fall of Orpheus conducted in the same style as Vraks.

And your content is great and I understand that it takes time. Your community loves you and we'll be happy with whatever content you put out. Just make sure you aren't burning yourself out my dude, content creation is an extremely stressful process and doing too much too quickly might hurt your mental health. Take it slow and steady. And remember: the Emperor protects!

It would be cool to see you cover other wars in the 40K universe and one suggestion I have that is a detailed conflict but, not as long as the Horus Heresy is the Sabbat Worlds Crusade.
Several novels yes, but, less of them compared to the Heresy series and it has a background book giving great details about the wars raging in this sector. If you feel a want to cover another war like your Vraks videos, then maybe giving the Sabbat Worlds a try could work.

I will say Wizards and Warriors definitely dont fully understand warhammer as a whole. Their explanations of the warp and numerous points of the End Times of WHF was irritating, and the 40k stuff I saw a bit that they missed

Loved the video @Janovich! Can't wait for the next video man! I love the Siege of Vraks series, but I am interested in hearing about some of the other Units of the Imperial Guard after looking into the Astra Militarum on the Fandoms to try and find out how the Death Korps was organized.
Here's to a great 2024 for the Warhammer 40K Community, especially the Fan-Animators because God Dammit Games Workshop, why the hell do you always have to put Control over your own Fan base like Rockstar Games does over games like GTA V!
1 video per month its not a lot? My guy I might talk for most of the viewers that it's impressive that you manage to make 1 video per month with all the edition you make alone mate, take the time ya need, I would gladly wait for it cuz I know its gonna be great as all the other videos

I'm honestly glad that Horus' Heresy won't be the next core project for a several reasons. 1. Almost every channel makes videos on it. 2. It has so much internal incoherence due to how many uncoordinated authors worked on it, and it's all brought down by the various rewritings of history by GW over the years. 3. A lot of the characters already resemble more soap operas than myth-telling.
Personally, I prefer more comprehensive events like Vraks, Krieg, Armagedon. The advantage is that with the more closed narratives, GW does not forget the point of the story three times in a row (at least not so often).

Hey, I've been consuming CZcams content since .. what.. idk.. 2008 or 2009 at least. And one thing stands out, Quality always wins over quantity even if it takes some time. And right now you are the most detailed-animator in this sphere. Lore channels have the luxury of just narrating things out. You dont. Take it easy, make sure you have your rests, or you burn out trying to beat other people. Which you dont have to. you're unbeatable.

Tip for 2024, could you number the episodes of series in the title somehow? If you want to watch the next episode its a bit tricky to navigate, I haven't watched your Vraks series since ep 12, so its a bit of a job find the next episode, same goes if you watches it in several sittings its hard to lose track unless you keep being up to date.
I did at first but removed the numbers to test out the youtube algoritm. Reasoning behind it being that new viewers would be less likely to click on a part 14 rather. I'll look at the data and see if it makes a difference. If it doesn't I'll put the numbers back. Alternatively you can use the playlists its in chronological order, also end of the video there's always a next video endscreen.
@@Janovich Aye, but its a two way problem, because while people are more inclined to click, they have a much worse time finding episode 1, since you don't get to see it in the side recommendations, and clicking through the playlist is more than one click - and generally the lower effort it is for people, the more likely they are do to it. But I won't fight the data, if you actively search for w40k lore, you are more likely to get the playlist directly etc.
@@genstianThis is true. The compilation videos (Part 1-6) seem to do very well though. They get more views than individual videos.
@@Janovich Aye, I've been seing those for completed series such as the Krieg civil war, and those also appears in the recommendation. being a logical starting point for most.
