Getting E and D ranks constantly in the day stages especially first time playing.
@@lucky_dog1228 I constantly had B or C Ranks in my first playthrough. I only had D Rank in Dragon Road Day and Skyscraper Scamper Night.
I love how every game plays the same theme even if you get the worst rank, as if it encourages you that you can do better.
While Unleashing just mocks you like: “Wow you managed to do that badly? Screw you you deserve this song!”

I love that in Sonic Unleashed HD it’s basically the game going “huh…I guess you reached the end. You get to see the results screen, but you did so poorly you also get special music.” You LITERALLY get an otherwise unheard track that plays exclusively for doing so badly.
I think one of the things that emphasizes Unleashed’s sad music is how devastated Sonic is at his results. He just collapses on the ground.

yup. SEGA's refusal to even port the game to Steam or current gen consoles is genuinely hurting their sales so much. they could drop Sonic Unleashed's ports right now and it would sell almost as well as a new entry Sonic game. actual monkeys be running SEGA and Sonic Team now

Sonic Unleased (360/PS3) was impressive in its own right if you consider that was done by a professional orchestra. They had to intentionally mess that theme up.

forces’ ranking system was so easy the player had to stay for 18 minutes in the same stage and finish with one ring (and they somehow still almost got a B)
The fact a level that should last 1 Min in forces but is completed in 24 Mins still almost gets a b goes to show how terrible the ranking system is 💀

0:08 I know it’s sounds weird to say, but I noticed that Sonic Frontiers is the first Solo Sonic game that has Spindash, Dropdash and boost at the same time. Although I don’t like its boost version because it can’t kill robots in the way. But if there’s something more annoying than its boost, it has to be the fact that you can’t replay Titan bosses at all!!!!!!!!!!!!

Obviously the boost won't destroy the robots, because they're older ancient robots stronger than Sonic, There's no way sonic can destroy them.
