Facts
Unleashed's opening cutscene werehog transformation is the best by far. The teeth, the rippling fur, the gloves ripping from his hands as they grow and morph into sharp claws... it's so visually pleasing and trchnologically impressive. That whole opening cutscene is a work of beauty, though. I wish more games had that level of cutscene quality. And not just for the opening cinematic.
Out of all the transformations, my favorite is easily Excalibur Sonic. It might be biased and nostalgia talking, but that whole scene seemed cool af back in the day and still holds up even now.
I love that game probably one of my favourite sonic games

I'm kinda bummed that the sonic franchise couldn't make cutscenes as good as Unleashed or Generations for Frontiers, the cutscenes for Unleashed and Generations just give so much feelings, and it looks so realistic

@@RL-DarkSpark I'm talking about the cutscene graphics, have you seen Unleashed and Generations compared to Frontiers? It is just my opinion, but those cutscene were just amazing
@@Yuhness if we're speaking just on the animations themselves yes, if Frontiers had Unleashed quality, and maybe the expressiveness of something like Prime, I guess pre-rendered cutscenes for at least the story base events would have elevated Frontiers a slight bit higher cuz it's already pretty good

I wish there was a game where the whole gimmick was getting different forms for Sonic and just altering between them for the entire game
Some would function as combat forms and some would function as movement forms, kind of like whisps but without the power up aspect
At this point sonic is just a full on god
Hyper Sonic and Werehog are my favorite forms and trasnformations.

@@littleglitches5720 oof.. ima have to disagree. The cinematics in unleashed were 10x better. When you look at the werehog, you can see the details in the transformation. I'm not saying that Excalibur wasn't good, but the werehogs transformation had more detail

The sonic unleashed cutscenes are insane
I really like Sonic as Super Sonic, Darkspine Sonic, Sonic the Werehog, and Excalibur Sonic though.
Not sure if cyber corruption counts as a transformation, that was more like a painful condition that ended up paralyzing him, didn't give him any kind of benefit.
Also this is missing Hyper Sonic and Dark Sonic but overall cool vid 👍

Evolution of Sonic Transformation in Sonic games (1992-2022) (0:11)
We can talk about how Super Sonic is important, we can talk about how Unleashed was best opening scene for Super Sonic.
Super Sonic was introduced first in Sonic 2 1992 and we got his true potential in 2022.
We had to wait 30 years to see how Really powerfull Super Sonic is, semi clones, extra charges etc it was simply never shown before.
They are so out of this world awesome
Hyper is in Sonic and Knuckles but it cant be enabled there are game codes like get all chaos emeralds as for an example.
When you do the get all Super Emeralds cheat on Sonic and Knuckles you can turn into hyper
The opening cutscene to unleashed is brilliant.

@@allanfbezerra It's either that or he didn't play the events for the game, which keep in mind the game had their original events around 1 or 2 years. Plus one more thing events for all of Sonic's forms happened this years, so probably he didn't play the game.
