Lewis Hamilton Tries Korean Food for the First Time!!

- Today we got the chance to meet Lewis Hamilton, the top racing driver in the world, and one of the greatest to have ever lived. He holds countless records but has stayed incredibly humble and really unassumingly kind.
It’s a real privilege to get to film with a superstar of this level, and especially to introduce him to some Korean food also! Because he had a race coming up right after our interview unfortunately he couldn’t eat a lot, but he was extremely down to eat, open minded and willing to try anything, which was really humbling to see.
Big thanks to Lewis for giving us his time, and trying some new food even though he’s a self-proclaimed not a very adventurous eater! 😂 And of course a special thanks to Tommy Hilfiger for setting this interview up and sponsoring this episode.

오늘은 세계 정상급 카레이서이시자 역사상 가장 뛰어난 카레이서로도 손 꼽히시는 루이스 해밀턴님을 만났어요. 엄청나게 많은 기록을 보유하고 있으신 분이지만 여전히 정말 겸손하고 너무 친절하신 분이셨어요.
이렇게 대단하신 분과 촬영할 수 있었다는 것만으로도 너무 영광이었는데, 한국 음식까지 소개해드릴 수 있어서 더 특별한 시간이었어요! 경기를 앞둘고 계셔서 음식을 많이 드실 수는 없었지만, 어떤 음식이든 도전해보고 싶어하시고 망설임 없이 드셔주셔서 정말 감사했답니다!

아참, 참고로 저희가 루이스씨와 촬영한 주에 바로 경기가 있으셔서 식단 관리하시느라 많이 드시지 못했는데, 계속 경기만 아니었으면 혼자 다 먹었을것 같다고 아쉬워하시더라고요! 역시 세계 최고 선수의 길이란...!!ㅠㅠ 너무 안타까운 동시에 정말 존경스럽더라구요! 아무튼 루이스씨 앞으로도 지금처럼 멋진 경기 기대할게요~!!
Btw! The week we filmed this with Lewis was the same week he had a big race in Singapore so unfortunately he couldn’t eat much. Lewis told us he would have had more if it wasn’t for that and was super gutted too! So much respect for this guy and we wish him all the best for all the races in the future!

Interviewer was very engaged with Lewis and asking relatable questions. Good job. Great to see Lewis Hamilton interacting, outside of an F1 race. BTW, Korean food is the best!
I really like them too, they've done many interviews like this with very different celebrities but it always feels confortable, polite, calm, respectful... Many actual interviewers should take note from them, that's how we want interviews to be : enjoyable for the celebrity, the hosts and the audience

As an F1 fan, this is an unreal crossover episode. I wasn't expecting this channel to have something like this, so it really made my day.
Lewis sounds like a great person, it was my first time really seeing him! I love how he doesn’t let people put him in just one box but he likes to try new things and he doesn’t let other things limit his abilities😁 Great to learn things about him!
I was so impressed by his mind and effort for conservation of environment. After I saw this great interview, I found he is not only worldclass car racer also he is becoming a great environment activist who effects people. In additional his fashion style is so cool!
Yeah, he is a big advocate for quite a few things! But sadly in the f1 world it isn't making him very popular.

In a world where these folks get shuttled around to tables and asked the same questions over and over again by some folks who just want a sound bite, you are genuine and humble and seem to be enthusiastic about your guests. I'm not a sports or fashion person too, so I'd never heard of Hamilton before either. Yet I'm not a fan still even though he seem nice and humble and easy-going, but I really not into racing or fashion.

눈빛이 정말 맑고 행동거지가 정말 귀해 보인다. 조심스러운 행동이 경계의 표시일 수도 있겠지만, 그 기본인성이 매우 훌륭한 듯 느껴지는 건 나 뿐일까? 많이 대해볼 수 있는 사람이 아닌 건 분명한 듯 하다.

한국이 옛날 평지도없고 가축키우기 촉박하고 불교도대중적이고 고기 자르는 사람을 백정이라깔봤으니까... 고기가 희소하다고 들었어요 아마 그래서 적은고기로 많은맛을내는 국문화도 생기고... 그래서 특히 비건인 외국인들도 좋아하더라고요

돼지는 먹는게 사람하고 겹치다 보니 많이 가르지 않았죠
말은 주로 군사옹쓰이니 보호되고
그나마 접하기 쉬운 육류가 닭고기 였던 듯

미국한인식당 서버로 몇년간 일했었는데, 한식먹으로 오는 외국인 부류는 크게 두가지더라고요 하나는 코리안 바베큐, 또하나는 비건. 바베큐 먹으러 오는사람이 물론 더 많긴했지만 한식 비건 매니아층이 생각보다 많은거에 놀랐어요 :)

오늘 처음으로 알게 된 분인데 굉장히 젠틀하시고 겸손하신 분이네요. 누구나 힘든 시기를 겪으면 그 만큼 강해지고 또 어려운 사람을 배려하는 따뜻한 인성을 가지게 되는데 딱 그런 분이네요! 팬 됐어요. 아들들이 워낙 자동차를 좋아하는데 이 인터뷰 보여줘야 겠어요.
