The Ultra Instinct state is special even for such extraordinary guys as Saiyans. Goku managed to reach it in a very dangerous situation - he needed his thoughts being turned off to not let them interfere with the action. He got an amazing reaction, and you can feel it in the defensive techniques of UI Goku in DBFZ.
