add in a 1/3 cup of white wine and a half cup of parmesan, also sautéed sliced onions, red bell pepper and a tablespoon of tomato puree and it will be a lot better.

I make this often and all the correct things were used. Once the chicken is seasoned with salt and pepper its enough.
