- This creamy Tuscan chicken recipe is a dinner recipe winner! Juicy chicken breasts are seasoned with Italian spices and seared until golden, then simmered in the most luxurious cream sauce filled with parmesan cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, onions and plenty of spinach.
It’s a spin on a classic Italian Florentine sauce, which is made from white wine, cream, and spinach. Then it was given a Tuscan twist by adding garlic and sun-dried tomatoes to the warm cream and spinach base. But what really popularized this dish (at least in America) was Olive Garden’s Tuscan Garlic Chicken, a dish with a similar flavor profile.
Either way, I’m glad this Tuscan chicken became a trend because it’s literally the best thing ever. Especially when you’re craving something rich and cheesy, with a Mediterranean flair. It's an (almost) 30-minute, one-pan meal that I know you're gonna love. And while I'm making the classic version today, I'll also show you how to make this recipe dairy-free (it's naturally gluten-free). Click through to the recipe below for more details!

My family loved this. I made it will full fat coconut milk, and no one could tell. So much delicious flavor! My husband said if he wasn't already married to me, he would marry me for that meal! I served it with roasted baby potatoes and summer squash, and a Greek salad. This is going into regular rotation.
I made this tonight and I used the coconut cream for a non dairy version. I served it with angel hair pasta. My whole family loved it! I was thinking next time I might add a little cooked bacon just for a little extra salty flavor since I'm not using the parmesan cheese. I also followed the tip to use the oil from the jar of sundried tomatoes to cook the chicken in and I think that added a lot of flavor as well. This was so easy to make and so delicious. I will definitely be making this again.

I chose this recipe to surprise my husband with good food for dinner. As we both are Indian and it's a different cuisine recipe without any usage of spices, we were a bit unsure in the beginning where it would lead. I replaced a few things from your recipe:
1. Instead of using sun dried tomatoes, I used normal tomato puree.
2. I used normal pink onion
3. I used a normal processed cheese cube instead of parmesan
4. I used oregano, chilli flakes and mint leaves along with salt and pepper instead of Italian seasoning.

Made this last night - so delicious! I substituted 1/2 cup whole milk for part of the cream and shredded Italian cheese blend for the parmesan and it still turned out great.
