Great Stunts on old machines. I know that hey are highest tuned with modern materials. But they look and sound so much better than actual GP Races. So I enjoy every minute of these vids.
I have never understood why, when in the day, that GHASTLY Italian was struggling with the MotoGP bike, and yet Corser was around, waiting to be asked. He is the complete racer, a nice fellow and as much fun as a box of frogs. He would have sorted Ducati GP out I have no doubt. Hero. WF

His hot lap there was 1:37.369. Goodwood Motor Circuit is 2.4 miles long, so that was a definitely super impressive for a 1935 vintage motorbike 88.7mph average speed.

Well. Generally, it is a sign of over hot exhaust gases, caused by a weak mixture, or retarded ignition. Though bran new exhausts can easily "blue", if the engine is worked hard, before a protective insulating film of carbon has been formed. On a hard worked engine, I would be comfortable with a "straw" colour. The limiting factor is the life of the exhaust valve seats when over heated. I know that BMW will have very good exhaust valves, but I was just saying: the bluing was not a good indication... Don't ask how I know...
Depends on the kind of pipes. BMW used single walled exhaust pipes that's why they turn blue when they get only a little hot. Thus it's not uncommon to see them "glow in the dark". Other makes use double walled pipes with an air gap, that prevents the outer wall from getting as hot.
Why is everybody raving over how good of a rider he is?? He literally just over powers the shit out of everybody on the straight aways, and those are his only passed. He loses ground to every rider in every corner.
