- This is almost certainly not the headline you thought you were going to see when you came onto CZcams today but I am happy I could provide something out of the box. Kim Kardashian, of the mighty Kardashian clan, actually was integral in saving under-threat youth that were part of a national team setup in Afghanistan.
That is a 100% true statement and that in itself is insane, but the whole story involves so many other characters that you have to watch the video to believe it. It sounds like a ‘walking into a bar’ joke and then turns into a heartwarming story about saving people who just love to play soccer and deserve the chance to play.

As a UK citizen, I am extremely disappointed to say that yes, that type of attitude can be found here. It's not everywhere, but it's wide spread enough to have made it harder for those brave girls.
Well perhaps the government should do something about the boat migrants like sending them back home rather than putting them up in hotels. Skepticism of real refugees is the unfortunate consequence of not protecting your borders and housing fake refugees (no one from Albania is a refugee for instance). Doesn't help people like Gary Lineker likening not taking in everyone in the world with the Holocaust.

Given the ongoing nonsense in the UK news regarding their policies or lack of good policies to support asylum seekers this should be on the front of every paper. Just read a BBC news article on this. It is alleged that 13 of the footballers weren't actually footballers, with footballers remaining in the country upset that they were evacuated over themselves.

This story is so sad. The fact that women are having their families killed and their homes burned for wanting to compete in athletics is shameful to the entire human race. The US has given billions of dollars and thousands of lives to the people of this nation, and things are just as bad as they're ever been. At least 130 people have had their lives changed maybe for better. Mad respect to KK for being who she is. So much more needs to be done in this world. It's up to all of us to get there.

Good on those who came to the UK and despite getting such comments and hate thrown at them still believe and feel that it's the best country. That is a positive attitude.

Hum, likely not, you may say whatever about their antics, the kardashians likely have other similar stories in stores (first of all because it's good for their brand). Kim could have just passed the hot potato to someone else, make the connect, and call it a day. She didn't, she took her responsibility as a rich female entertainer who fancies herself a role model and she footed the bill and made sure 130+ people would get to safety. That's not just 'fair play', that's character (development, in her case).
