- Indian Brith Army took part in this bloody offensive.
The Battle of Neuve Chapelle (10-13 March 1915) took place in the First World War in the Artois region of France. The attack was intended to cause a rupture in the German lines, which would then be exploited with a rush to the Aubers Ridge and possibly Lille. A French assault at Vimy Ridge on the Artois plateau was also planned to threaten the road, rail and canal junctions at La Bassée from the south as the British attacked from the north. The British attackers broke through German defences in a salient at the village of Neuve-Chapelle but the success could not be exploited.
On the outbreak of war, the Indian Army had 150,000 trained men and the Indian Government offered the services of two cavalry and two infantry divisions for service overseas. The force known as Indian Expeditionary Force A was under the command of General Sir James Willcocks. Force A was attached to the British Expeditionary Force and the four divisions were formed into two army corps: an infantry Indian Corps and the Indian Cavalry Corps.
Upon arrival in Marseilles on 30 September 1914, only six weeks after the declaration of war, they were moved to the Ypres Salient and took part in the Battle of La Bassée in October 1914. In March 1915, the 7th (Meerut) Division was chosen to lead the assault in the Battle of Neuve Chapelle. The Expeditionary Force was hampered by a lack of familiarity with new equipment, only being issued Lee-Enfield rifles on their arrival in France and they had almost no artillery, relying on support from their neighbouring corps when in the front line. They were not accustomed to the continental weather and were poorly equipped to resist the cold, leading to low morale which was further compounded by the reserve system, whereby reinforcements were drafted in from any regiment and had no affiliation to their new units.
After the big losses the infantry divisions were finally withdrawn to Mesopotamia in October 1915, when they were replaced by the new British divisions of Kitchener's Army

Hope you get the funds for Anzac
Thank you! I'll try :) But... not sure if I mentioned that but in case I dont buy them I'll return all money. Not going to keep them if I dont start that project
Got it! You can keep mine if you don’t get the funds I still wanna support yeah work plus it’s not a lot lol sorry I can’t give more
🎉🎉🎉
Hey! Seen the first part?
@@LCMhistory I did! Wrote a comment and liked the video! It was very good and I love the topic I don’t think any animator has done Rabaul and I liked that you included some practical effects in it! Sorry it didn’t get that much views but I am so excited for part 2
It's nice that this topic is finally being covered! These guys deserve more recognition than they received!
Agreed
Its very rude how some British soldiers treat out siders like low lifes, but they should remember how the Tibetans nearly wipe out their troops that they have to sign a treaty with them also hire them as mercenary's, also they where out matched by the Zulus. Never unestimate ur enemys or allies, they may look like u can take them on, but they can beat u with their own tactics and knowledge.

I think the Irish should get more next
Thank you for this. The history books overlook the sacrifices of Indian soldiers during WW1. Sikhs were and still are the pride of our Indian forces. I hope this video reaches to millions of viewers and they recognize it. Thanks again for your hardwork❤
bro if british never colonize india india never join war bro
@@idk.man.yes they were forced so it s even worse
@idk.man. Keep in mind some Indians are still loyal to the British or are even of British descent.
as a Sikh, I felt truly obliged that you mentioned the British Indian Sikh soldiers in this video, thankyou so much for recognizing our glory and power. Thanks a ton for adding the cool Punjabi voice! Waheguru Ji da Khalsa, Waheguru Ji di fateh, Bole so Nihal, Sat Sri Akal!
Did my best to show this story. Indian Army deserves its memory
Yeah
Love these World War One videos you make! Love to see some on the Eastern front like the Battle of Tannenberg or the Brusilov Offensive
Such enormous losses to such brave men. But a victory was achieved because of the cost. This story was shown very well. Superb. The blood and even that mans guts.🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
Did my best to show the tragedy of war and brave soldiers
A victory?
Yes.
But it ultimately achieved nothing.
Which is sadly almost all the battles in WWI.
@@michimatsch5862 To be honest it's even hard to call a victory. Indian soldiers really managed to capture the first line of the german defence. But after that offensive just collapsed. Chaos, awful communication, wrong recon info, and final point - artillery ran out of ammo and there wasnt any support any more. So it was just a slaughter fpr nothing... which is really was the same at most of ww1 battles
@@LCMhistory yikes.
And all of them where always told that they would make the difference, that their sacrifice would win the day, that they would be heroes.
But they all wound up as just another statistic.
I love how you incorporated the real voices from the movie Sajan Singh Rangroot into a lego interpretation of the movie!
Yeah, I thought it was a good idea )
Proud to be a Sikh My great grandfather died in WW1
Man said he wanted them all alive at the trench while telling them to cross no man’s land lol and this is so smooth
So happy to see my ancestors! Actually had so many fight in WWI in France and against Turkey. Only had a few in WWII. But this is outstanding. 🫡🫡🫡

I think its very important that such unknown but important storys are told, and what better way of telling a story then in a LCM Animation!
That's a masterpiece, amazing work. Like a real movie. I had so much emotions
Great day when LCM uploads!! ❤
yes you right
You have never failed to amaze me with your amazing videos! Keep up the good work!
thank you!
Fantastic, the animation is absolutely PERFECT! The only thing I can notice is a little slow movements in some moments, but despite this, the animation is realistic and SOOOOO smooth! Smash like)
Yes, I was so concenrating on making it smooth that made it a bit slow :)
The Indian British army needs to be in more western films set during the world wars. They perhaps had the most civilian casualties during ww2 mainly due to the famine that they suffered while they exported their food to Britain during the blitz.
Correct me if I'm wrong but other than The Bridge on the River Kwai I don't think there's ever been a movie made about the Burma campaign in WW2.
I am proud to be Indian and they fight with bravery. Love u bro ! ❣️
Bravo! Well done!! The British Indian Army was a significant mainstay of the Empire. Great to see it's valiant soldiers shown here in Lego!!!
Noice 👌👌👌👌
It’s nice to see how you’ve come along on CZcams from assassins creed that weren’t even LEGO to this is just impressive
It brings tears to my eyes when the soldier asks his friend if they will go back to punjab but he is actually cut in half.
This has a great story! I love war stopmotions that are able to incorporate that, since it adds more texture to the film.
I'm so glad you put in so much work for all your stop motions, they turn out really well every time you make one.
The Best!
thanks :)
You never disappoint! And glad to see that you are showing a part of history that for too long hasn't been widely covered and barely recognized.
That part where he was bleeding out was so emotional. Well done, I salute you.
This one is amazing bless the Indian army and shikhs everywhere
I love the new shell eject effect you've done. Great job!
I love how people can make some thing as childish as Lego into something so serious.
This was amazing as always, I love your documentary style of animation! You teach me a lot about history whenever you post!
Great to see feedbacks like this one :)
The Indians in my opinion are a reason for the British empire being able to grow so big. There was also a true story of 21 soilders fending off 1000

So good bro! I forgot I was watching Lego for a minute. Great story. Great animation. Great lighting. Magnificent!!!

Finally the Europeans are knowing how the indians fought for sovereignty of people and empires what they had nothing to do with!!
Thanks @LMC BRICK SHOW for recognition of Indian sacrifices during the great war due to a Serbian shot a Austrian.
The history is a weird thing... Serbian shot an Austrian and people from India started to fight with Germans in France
I love the Indian army sound effect. It was 100% perfect with them.
Great talent, enjoyed it immensely

Amazing work on it, pls do Pak india independence war
"Pak india independence war" - a lot of people are asking me about it but its complicated. I need to order spacial custom minifigs with limited design. It demands a lot of money :(
@@LCMhistory you can use the Minifigures you have, you don't need more, you just may need a train and an station, I can assist you for the war film I have an great knowledge with this (: u don't need to invest much bro

@@LCMhistory can’t wait!
@@Bigman1S-hr3rk Who said that Indians weren't there? LOL Its a history fact. There are even photos from that period
@@Bigman1S-hr3rk Actually one of the main reasons why I decided to make this animation is like educational purpose. Very few people know that Indian army fought in Europe in WW1, Everyone knows that Indians fought in Africa/Middle East in ww1 but Europe is covered with the fog of war. So I decided to put some light on this topic
I suggest a Harlem Hellfighters video. Thanks LCM.
I always love those backgrounds.
Hey lego crazy motion,i like your film, first time watching your video(battle of berlin)i was impressed,so this animation too,
Subbed tho👍😎🙏
Its great of you too aknowledge all the people and races that thought to protect in wars. I also still think you should have a break, too much of this and you might leave us!

Brave Indians
very nice like all your videos!!!!
Thanks :)
I’ve been interested in the role that the Indian troops played. Great job!
Planning to make more in the future
Dude got me crying
Than it shows that I managed to make a good story with plastic parts
@LCMhistory Bro stop taking credit for something you didn't do this is just voices from an actual movie you copied
The battle also makes me remember that soldier from my country under French rule have fought in WW1. About 100.000 Vietnamese have fought and worked for French. After WW1, many men can't seen their homeland. Nguyen Ai Quoc called it is "blood tax".
Love your video and respect for Indian soldiers have fought in WW1
Maybe one day I will cover this subject in my animations as well
Thanks, LCM. You are the best
Fist one yo VIEW! LETS GO! Also can’t wait to see more from you LCM LONG LIVE THE LEGO STOPMOTION!

"Dond dell me whad do do" - Indian Officer
This is amazing!!!!
Thanks for giving Indian’s recognition.❤
OMG. I didn't even know about this story in WW2! Heroes, whose were on not their war and whose gave there lifes for peace and freedom in Europe...
Thanks for letting me know about that. The animation was very good. Especially I liked scene of artillery fire. There were cool specials effects, which are really better then in animation of Khalkin Gol and were such as in Iraq war's 10 part 👍
And how to be without critic?) In the scene when Bristish Indian Army was going on German threnches their running was a little bit slow. So, see you in the next incredible animation without it!
Thank you! And about the running... I was concentrating on making smooth animation but really made it a bit slow. My bad
