The Fusion is amazing in Zombies. You already use Ghost Fusion to go into Garura by banishing Changshi to go into Beatrice, and Duke is even better for this than Garura, because the second Normal does wonder in a Deck that infamous for getting monsters stuck om hand.
Not only that, this lets you play the Frightfur engine since it can be Fuse by using a Zombie and Edge Imp Chain, which is another way to get Zombies in GY. The main problem with Zombies has always been the lack of good extenders that maakes them to fragile to interruption, this really helps a lot with that

@@TengoSuenhoOh this card is certainly better than Garura, for sure, but…I can’t help but have my doubts about it. Only time will tell, but I think people are coping just a lil bit. If this guy summoned a zombie from grave or milled a zombie on banish it would be soooo good. Instant zombie staple. But it adds to hand? Blegh.
@@torakandwolf6786That seems fine to me. Gives discard fodder or recovery as follow-up. Zombies have so many cards that do stuff like that, I think having diverse effects will really help with combo lines and playing through disruption.
@@torakandwolf6786 you don't care tjat much about the GY effect, more for the Extra Normal Summon, since Zombies are desperate for extenders. The GY effect is only good to recycle Synchros or in specific archetypes like Vampires, tho it can come in handy to use a Gozuki again without wasting a Mezuki
I think he misunderstood the purpose of Allure Palace. It is not meant to be just a Lonefire effect. It's meant to go from Allure Queen Lv3 to Allure Queen LV7 in one single turn, which normally is impossible as she can only upgrade during your standby phase, which would be your next turn for LV5, and then your next turn again for LV7.
This combined with Allure Dance then lets you bring back the LV5 and LV3 once you have the LV7 out, which is how you get the three Spellcasters for the Link monster. Obviously this is way too convoluted for a Link summon, but that is the intended design of it.
I think (and by that I'm making a guess) he maybe understands the intended use, but tries to think if there is a use in a competitive scene so outside the allure queen archetype.
No, that effect isn’t a quick effect, only the ability to equip is a quick effect.
@@HapsterHap no one said that tho, you use the effect of the queens gained via palace on your turn, to upgrade then revive with dance then link .. is what I believe they said.

My old five rainbow runic list played it, it's really funny when the opponent activates their own quick play and triggers it. Almost always gets the scoop.

I was thinking Dark World Accession with dark worlds, fableds, BAs and any other fiends that have effects in the gy but thats even more based

Dark world Earthbound will use this and pop off. Fuse into this, then use it to synchro using earthbounds or Vision Resonator, then banish it to add back Snoww for additional searches and discards

The argument for Lavalval Chain definitely getting banned is because it's materials are too generic. But Beatrice nowadays is so easy to summon if you are a deck that needs GY anyway. Even being a quick effect her self is so worth your effort to summon her.
The link should’ve treated the summon as being summoned by the noted previous level.
if they make an archetype out of allure queen they might aswell make one for dark lucius

Genuinely, I wish Konami would focus more on generic cards and printing cards for already existing archetypes with just a new archetype every now and again. It's not necessary to make like 3 new decks every set when the game already has like a thousand different decks you could build.

Yeah 3 Spellcasters is hard tbh. Setting up Golden Allure Queen is basically a hard requirement to make the other Spell cards be useful. And if it is restricted to Main Phase, it's going to be garbage.
@@KevinTangYT If anything it's the other way around, the spells are the ones making the golden allire queen. Allure Palace lets you climb from 3 to 5 to 7 and then dance summons the other queens back and there is your link 3
@@alexandruandros1271 but how are they going to get the very first equip to ladder up using Palace? That's the issue. It's like Gemini monsters where you need to tool to grant the ability first. If you can get 5 out and summon 3 to their field and equip 3, then send both for 7, then use dance to bring back 3+5, then you can make Golden. But then you also lost the field presence that benefits from it.
@@KevinTangYT You get the first equip the same way you get the others, you use palace to summon allure queen lv3 to your opponent and then equip it with the effect of the allure queen lv3 you have on board, then use the 2nd effect of palace level up to level 5 and repeat

It'd be neat if they make some new main deck monsters, similar to what they did with armed dragon LV monsters for allure queen.
The fusion monster can be used in illusion to recur resources and not lose to hand traps as easily
How would it be summoned?
If Konami wants to support these awful "LVL" monsters I think they should make them synergistic with each other. Like a ROTA or SMALL WORLD to search/swap one for another and a way to cheat out the high LVL monsters.
That fusion can turn the Fiendsmith package into a pseudo brilliant fusion package for the Fiend pile deck.

The fusion is great in Dark World, extra normal is always great and it recycles Snoww to the hand while giving a body for link spamming. Now if only shifter were to get banned...
Oh woah, Allure Queen support! What a novel idea! It's only 6 years old by this point from where it was shown in the anime! Incredible! I thought we would have to wait 17 years like for Arcana Force XV! Progress!
Just imagine if instead of all hat worthless pack filler, Konami actually published anime cards and support *at the time it was made*. Crazy concept I know.
As a Zombie player I need some good support but this is not enough
To everyone out there that thinks super poly is a good card against Unchained I need to inform you that there is a line that just plays through all singular board breakers (only losing 3 interrupts at most from the 7-8 you have).
And this line is just the normal line but you pop Rage with Shayama and add Shavara to hand.
After triggering Caesar once you have access to a free pop that pops an additional card on field (summoning Abom) and you get to trigger Yama to revive Rage.
Also super poly Caesar and you dealt with two interrupts but the Unchained player gets massive follow up and has probably enough to survive the turn.
So you only win if you open Nib and Imperm specifically (or Maxx C) as all the other stuff should be easily played around with 5 cards in hand.

Man I wish the Link monster treated Special Summoning the Allure Queen monsters as if it was by the monsters mentioned in their card text. If it did that, Allure Queen would be more viable as a Deck Theme. Instead it just... is way too slow even if Golden offers decent protection

Yes. Which is why I think he was a bit too dismissive of the equip. You can just summon out the other material as a token, then use the same card to fusion summon the new fusion. I've seen a lot worse at the very least

Anime card doesn't mean a card that was ever played in the anime, it means the types of incredibly niche or underpowered cards that usually make up the bulk of the characters' strategies. Super Poly is a good card, that doesn't make the HERO fusions it was used to summon any good.
@@dracoblizzard7944 i get your argument, but superpoly is possibly the worst one to pick as Super Poly was used for more than a Hero Fusion, and more it’s a plot point in the anime.
Still, I would argue that cards used by characters in the anime count as anime cards. Especially if it was more than once.
Imperial Order was, for example, used by Rebecca Hopkins, Kougoro Daimon, and Revolver, so I’d argue it’s an anime card because it was in 3 decks in 2 different series: DM and Vrains
@@dracoblizzard7944 i would also argue that, if that’s the case, Revolver’s extra deck counts as it is the bulk of his tactics and many of those cards were busted.
Cards are not anime cards because they were ever used by someone in the anime but because an anime (a plot point, some character's design, how they wanted a particular duel to go down) is the reason for their existence and their particular design.
Magic Cylinder, Mirror Force, the old power spells are not anime cards.
You might have a point about Revolver's or Playmaker's Extra deck but while both contained cards that are real-life staples (or were at some point) they also contained a lot of less generic cards, even some outright bad ones (that had no reason to be as bad as they are).
Add to this that the majority of anime decks run on nothing but plot armour and one finds that an anime card would be expected to be bad.
I know it doesn't make sense but, anime card =/= any card used in the anime.
Duke is better in Fiends than zombies. The extra normal is cute, but really, wouldn’t we want it to special a zombie from grave than adding it to hand? Considering with ghost fusion you’ll typically use immortal dragon and changshi. I dunno, I think people are coping with this card in regard to it supporting zombies. Fiends though, this card is great. Also, excellent anti-yubel super poly target 👀
Let them be man. Zombies get no good cards lately anyway until The Duke got out. Heck even the equip spell & continuous trap are trash.
@@anzrhrn1614Dude I’m as big of a zombie coper as anyone else. They’ve been my favourite deck(s) to tinker with since Zombie Horde. I want them to get more cards, but this isn’t what I would have given them.

You say that, but how easy is it to do in decks that use those cards? Charmers is at least a full on archetype but Aleister is an engine, so You'd have to play it in another deck, with the same applying to ecclesia.
It is doable, but if you are doing it in a pile decks of spellcasters with little synergy then it is a mess, and you are dedicating 3 bodies for a link 3 that needs two other spells to be even decent

Once again, cards being too generic hurts design. There was no reason to make Beatrice a generic rank 6 and no reason for Fiendsmith to fuse into any fiend. I hate how Fiendsmith is becoming the next Adventure engine/Brilliant Fusion engine, able to be splashed into anything and perform.
