Germany and Argentina are England’s rivals not Scotland.The only things Scots get to celebrate is when England get knocked out of a competition they didn’t qualify for.
For a long time our 'rivalry' with Germany consisted of the Germans winning everything and probably not getting too hung up about England. We have a great set of players now...the best I've ever seen... I'm 52. England should be winning trophies. We should win Euro 2024 but I worry about Southgate as a manager.

@@steve-bk1qd Funny but when the Germans were talking up Klopp was their next national coach my reaction was hands off because England have first dibs. The problem with Southgate is they he doesn't seem to get the best of our the players when it really matters however he has certainly overseen a positive change in atmosphere surrounding the national team. As for the Scotch, I don't know much about Steve Clarke but hats off to him for picking up the Scotland team and putting them on the right track.

Blair, yet another great video. I went to Scotland v England in 99. I was lucky to get a ticket but 2 of my mates didn’t and they were marched back to the city centre via the Gorbles with another 1000 ticketless England fans! Absolute mayhem! Theres no way this is a friendly and every time we play each it gets the adrenaline going. You need to get to a 2nd City Derby Villa v Blues (that’s if whenever we play each other again!) as it’s England’s biggest derby by far due to the sheer hatred.
It’s on the list for sure! As for now… See you at the Legia Warsaw game 👀

I live in Scotland but originally lived in England. Never thought of Scotland as a rival even when I lived down there. Nice to beat them but Germany, France and Argentina means far more.
