Yes, go to layer > layer styles > color overlay!

is it possible to change the gmap colors for the background generators ?

Yes, they’re all smart objects, but you can also change them quickly with a hue/saturation adjustment layer! The only thing rasterized are the bitmapped layers in the background generators
