As a designer being a a copycat and following popular trends and aesthetics can only get you so far before it becomes boring and stagnant and uninteresting, and you realise that everyone is the same and everyone wants to be like everyone else, like an algorythmic echochamber. its the sign of a the times, and It is becoming harder and harder to be original and authentic these days. culture is being regurgitated over and over, in a washing machine, reducing the authenticity of everything more and more and its to the point where its washed out, boring and it feels like nothing new is coming. and now we move into a kind of purgatory where culture, art, design, music, even consciousness itself are all becoming digitised via artificial intellegince, reducing creation to nothing but a few words typed into machines, its kinda sad really. It feels like we will be nothing but consumers of empty, bland and meaningless content and product in the near future.

Let me express myself a little bit. I don't think the content you've been posting is meaningless, even if you already know the techniques or effects you are teaching. It still has value for your community, for the newbie getting involved and for the pro that wants to recap.
You've grown as a person and a professional and it's noticeable. It is really good that you leave social media for your own health. But don't diminish the journey you had until today. :)

working on content for places like instagram and youtube means you have to have high output and always leaves me wishing I had more time to work on something bigger scale. i always feel like my work does not reach it's full potential because i need to put it out daily or a few times a week and so all my energy is gone chasing approval from the algorithm or keeping my output high, congrats on 100k mate! i relate to a lot of what you said in this video
This is so relatable man. I hope that you'll find a formula that works for you too! It's honestly great to see that you've been doing more and more on CZcams and I hope it'll help you grow as a creator, just make sure that it doesn't consume you in the future, we need more people like you in the scene homie

Hey! I’ve been doing social media for soo many years and one thing I learned is that you WILL rekindle if you let yourself take time off to enjoy and experience life, fully offline. Going off the grid for a couple of years allows you to focus on your life and find new things to share and talk about and that’s SO IMPORTANT, I know you feel that as a creative! Please do whatever you need to take care of yourself and good luck!

I just wanna say that you gotta do what you gotta do but your content is truly amazing and has helped so many people including myself to explore techniques and ways to express ourselves - and if you think about it, that means a lot for each individual who’s trying to do so. Self expression in this day and age can be overwhelming and intimidating but you always find ways to make it possible. I’m so thankful and wish you the best because you should follow the path that feels right to you. We’ll miss you!
Quite happy if the videos get different. I would love bigger projects, especially the walkthrough of how you did it, problems you had, outcome, learnings etc. especially still business stuff, templates but still tutorials but just on a bigger scale :) like whole brand identities, research etc

I'm going to miss you, I remember you actually responding on my Instagram message where I was going trough a hard time and I never felt so validated and noticed, thank you for giving me the boost of confidence I needed. You made so much possible for us small artist. I myself am taking a break from social media, I will still be doing art but with no self made pressure ❤ keep on being a inspiration!
