The track you were thinking of was The Hunger, which was my second time listening to Ren and thought “oh wow, he can RAP’. But now, in a short space of time he’s stepped it up and sounds like he could really make a big statement in the hip hop genre.
@@eryksunthis one is also written around 2020-2021, I remembered he used to post teaser of it on instagram years ago and I was nearly dying waiting for it to actually be dropped. He said this song is one of the last one makes it to the album and I can’t understand why

Yup, Ren raps tongue twisters 😅 Sometimes it seems like he manages to make most of his songs intricate tongue twisters while somehow still making sense and conveying deep messages. He is a beast.

Seven sins, wicked ways are my two favorites for rap, but uninvited was a surprise favorite of the whole album. Also the extra track he released when trying to get #1 on charts is fire.
The Hunger is the song you are referring to int he beginning. The Hunger (the song not video) was created in 2016!!!! Wicked Ways was created much more recently in the last few couple years.
