Plateau shepherd have a very good habit: they always take rope of their dogs and care whether their dogs will chase and bite other persons. Its mean that they really regard their dog as their family, not just those only like petting
it's amazing how they have a similar coloring to that of dobermans and rottweilers even if they probably were bred separately.
They are the core of every black tan mastiff n mastiff mix breeds. One more example Bernese mountain dog n it's cousin

I'm in American and I don't beleive I've even known anyone with one of these! The biggest we see are Mastifs, Grey Hounds, Irish Wolf Dogs, Great Danes...

My grandpa once told me when they were in Tibet they used to go normad area to tease girl wit their guy on horse..One day the owner got pissed off unleash one of their Tibetan Mastiff..My grandpa laugh during that part of story coz he still remember that guy face when tht Tibetan Mastiff put down his horse nd he run for his life...

what disappointed me is that they are always chained
if they let free they will bite cameraman and crew.
They’re freed at night and will guard the family/herd. Usually tied up during the day cause if they bite someone it can cause problems. In America ppl we fences so dog can be lose but not in Tibet for these nomads. But again this isn’t ur average dog. It’s been used during war times...

They’re happiest in their native land and with their own ppl in Tibet. Where they belong, now ppl started breeding them In mass and many are being treated very bad by “bunch of cold hearted people”.

@@doglover5372 yes Nepal or North Indian state like Uttarakhand or Himachal ..but very hard to find bcuz these dog live in higher mountain..and live with Sherpas ..
