    Its because Chinese army don’t allowed Tibetan to keep Tibetan mastiff in home and monastery like we used to. They were all forced to shoot down.

    We use LGD's, Pyrenees mountain dog on our ranch. Just got a Tibetan mastiff/Pyrenees mountain dog pup.

    Some Tibetans says that not all big dogs in tibet are considered as tibetan mastiff, even mixes are big too

      That's true. The real Tibetan mastiff are extremely rare. It's about the protective character, their biological ability and the primitive instinct that distinguish Tibetan mastiff from other hairy dogs from the Tibetan plateau

      Even in same day, the temperature can fluctuate a lot. It can be +20°C and -5°C in the same day. In winter it's very cold, -25, -30°C and when the cold wind blows it can drop to -40°C
