Not only would THAT WOULD BE CRAZY AWESOME... but also help your youtube channel grow... I am still going to subscribe, but hopefully you will take my advice and do more African nations. The coach needs to talk to Taiwo Awoniyi and Victor Osimen. They are both deadly strikers, but they need to learn how to play for one another. They don't need to be confusing one another

    • @nzubeeva7480
      @nzubeeva7480 Před 8 měsíci

      That's the more reason why he (the coach) shouldn't play two central forward at the same time.

    • @nduwubachidera9111
      @nduwubachidera9111 Před 8 měsíci

      The thing is that neither of them are used to playing in a 2-man strike force. When the ball goes in the box, they both rush in like a poacher would do. It's to do with their striker instincts. Just like Awoniyi shot instead of crossing, and then Osimhen got in the same situation and crossed but with less power in the first instance and with too much the next.
      But that confusion actually helps because it also confuses their markers.
      It's not optimal though so if both of them miss chances on a bad day, their lack of synergy will be badly exposed.
      That's why neither of Osimhen or Awoniyi assisted the other for the entire 6 goals, since a 2-man strike force should have 1 striker assisting the other
      Boniface is an option though and can have better synergy with Osimhen.
      When Osimhen's upfront, he drops deep and drags a defender with him, like for Osimhen's 3rd goal.
      When Osimhen shifts wide in a turnover or counter attack, he can play up front like he did to assist Chukwueze.
      All in all, Peseiro got his tactics spot on.
      Since Awoniyi and Osimhen were not in synergy, he had Iheanacho supply them from the right and through the middle as a no.10
      When he took our supply off by subbing Nacho, he brought on Boniface to keep the supply going since we had no natural no 10 on the pitch

      I was impressed with him. Should pair with Osimhen in the AFCON because they have better chemistry. Awoniyi scored, but he and Osimhen are too similar and occupied same position most of the time, they won't work well together against stronger opposition

    Awoniyi and Osimhen still needs to gel better to see the best of them and Iheanacho should be more clinical otherwise he should assist the strikers. Overall a good game by all standard, good fighting spirit noticed in the team❤

      Nigeria's CBs are not the quickest.
      You don't play 3 at the back without pacy CBs, you'll be exposed on the counter especially when Aina/Zaidu(our likely wing-backs in that formation) are culpable of getting caught out of position
      We're good with 4-4-2 in rest shape, and 4-2-4 in attack.
      We can morph to 4-3-3 by dropping a striker
      Rohr tried this 3-5-2, 5-3-2 thing and we ended up losing to some minnow teams in qualifiers like this or struggling to get past them
      Playing 3 at the back would also mean we'd have to push our back line forward which is not advisable against African opposition
