Love mg pilot but I turn lane keep assist turned off, I prefer steering myself.
I turn mg pilot off when I see I will need to slow so that regen Kim’s in.

Cheers for that. I'd appreciate an overview of how to get the most range out of the car i.e speed on the motorway, KERS settings etc and how you've found the outside ambient temperature/battery temperature have impacted your range and charging times.

If you use home charging (either granny lead or charge box), would like to see a video on how you're getting on with that. Or do you solely rely on public and fast charging? Apologies if you've already covered that topic.
I've never covered the topic in depth, however I do have a home charger (Zappi, before Rolec), but good thinking! I'll add that to the list!
Hi. So if MG Pilot is just ACC + LKA, is there any difference in having MG Pilot enabled vs just using ACC with LKA enabled? Are there other things that MG Pilot does?
I do believe that MG Pilot has more control over steering. If I use LKA on its own, it won't "steer" into corners as well. MG Pilot is good at going round corners with minimal input. I definitely would keep your hands on the wheel, but otherwise I do believe it is better.
What you didn’t mention is what happens when you want to overtake. Does the car wrestle with you as it tries to stay in lane. . 🤔
Only if you do not indicate, and you probably should if you are overtaking
Have you har issues with charging of the car? I have always had troubles with the chargers on the road
Thank you for watching! I've had one or two, but they involved a call to the operator and a reset. Apart from that it didn't cause major disruption to my trip. I used to plan a plan B but mostly just rely on Zap-Map to find ones nearby (10% will get my worst case 10 miles).
@@KCTalksEV does it always recognise the car when you connect the charger? Mine seems to not accept half of the chargers used.. hear a lot of others also have issues but I have not seen a solution or a “trick” to make the car accept chargers..
Mostly yes - I can't recall a point where the car never connected. Always turn off the car completely, then plug in at the charger and follow the instructions. For some vehicles you have to lock the car as well to get it to recognise you plugging it in, but on DC rapid this normally isn't the case.
@@KCTalksEV seems like there is issues with some of the cars. Hope MG will have a fix to this in a future update
My recommendation would always be to contact your dealer immediately if you are having multiple charging issues. The odd one once on a particular charger and location may not be an issue (check PlugShare or Zap-Map in the UK to check any user reports), but otherwise if you are having multiple issues, contact your purchasing dealer.
Mg pilot only lasts 10 seconds, then you receive warning ,what’s the point ?
As mentioned you may not want LKA activated as it can feel in town like wrestling the wheel if it activates. MG Pilot has to be manually activated so avoids that.
MG Pilot isn't designed to drive the car, but the small changes in steering is removed, makes motorway journeys dead easy.
