Pretty cool figure! That tail is proof that they are able to do a Dock Ock with bendy wire tentacles, even if it has deluxe price.

I got this pre-ordered from BBTS....I've bought from Toy Snowman before quite a few times. Very fast considering coming from Canada to the states, and great customer service. If it's gonna be another month or two....I'd order one from Toy Snowman....i just bet that BBTS and Entertainment Earth are gonna start shipping this guy in a couple weeks. Don't want to spend that extra shipping for just a couple weeks. Arrgh!!!! Curse you, you awesome Marvel Legends!!! Hahahaha. Great review dude!

I have the original and am very content with it. I painted the exposed face flesh colour and liked it even more.
This new one does pop visually, but not essential to me. I wish both came with two fists and open hands.
This figure is a wind of change compared to the previous one
Hey Bryant 👋, I got him off Ebay a little while ago. Paid a little more for him but he seems worth it. He's still in package for now because I'm moving at month end.
I have both Scorpions, but this one looks better. At first, I thought the color was going to be too bright, but once I got it, it wasn't so bad in-person. I agree about the lips. I'm going to hit that with a wash of fleshtone paint to see if I can knock that back a bit. I did that with the 20th Anniversary Hulk using a lighter green, and it improved those heads dramatically. Nice review, man! Update: I repainted his lips using a thin coat of flesh tone and white mix of paint, and yeah--it did kick the lip color back a bit, and make it look more natural.

Cant wait to get mine. Only real issue is that I think he should be taller and should have had an alt screaming head. In the animated series he was pretty huge.

Love the new colors compared to the older version. Also the price is better too since I missed on the first one lol
I prefer this more classic version of Scorpion. Would have preferred him to be taller, but Hasbro gave us a complete Repaint. To top it off, they are so cheap they don't even include fisted hands despite it being a complete repaint.
Mine arrived from BBTS two weeks ago, but looks like they sold out as they are preordering for a second shipment now.
Still waiting on mine. Ugh....At least gamestop shipped my Mr Negative today.
Great review man, but honestly I'm so confused by these figures and whether they're comic or animated figures. I have separate displays. The tail is different than the show, but the rest is identical to the show.
Excellent review as always . Hope the next Doc Ock is on the retro card with bendy wire tentacles. But my guess is the next Doc Ock is coming in that VHS packaging (unfortunately).
A shark fin design on the costume? Those are scorpion tail stinger’s.
I got mine last weekend it is definitely better than the metallic green from the molten man BAF it’s an amazing repaint I don’t know if I should sell molten man one tho should I?

In my opinion this is way better then the metallic green one from the Molten Man BAF
The first one is more comic accurate and nothing beats the comic accurate comic book version . But I like this one because it's vibrant. And the color is nice. Since my favorite color is green. I like both the new one and the old one. This one looks a bit like a tranny lipstick guy. But everything else is fine. You can just fix the lips after you buy it. Inn my opinion .
i love how all the toy reviewers bother with marvel legends articulation like its a new frontier. why bother? how about putting him is some unique poses or on a crzy cool diorama?
Because the backlash in not showing articulation on a figure base that has been seen so many times is real. I’ve done it before with Bucky cap and people were not happy about it
Tbh I’m kinda annoyed at the fact that you’re recommending a Canadian retailer to your American viewers since we already have such a hard time locating figures in Canada and we generally have such low stock of all sorts of collectibles in Canada. Stuff is constantly sold out and being scalped for double or triple retail price, and we rarely get restocks. I’m sure you can find more American retailers to recommend.
