That is beautiful! What luxury and efficiency. I love the blackout blinds. And the hi lo desk is fabulous. I want that in my kitchen. The stereo features are wonderful, too.

When the UK ( I am in UK) build caravans even now, they include curtains. That idea I cant understand , as the blinds used in an Airstream are clearly the better design .no fuss , just quality fittings .

Nice presentation, sound like you know an Airstream. Mine is a 2007 30' Classic Ltd. Slide Out. One thing that can be debated is new technology vs. older technology. Which is better? I'm happy w/o using an app to control my simpler systems. No Alde, Czone WIFI stuff. And at 5:24 yeah pretty sure the tank cover "nut" is upside down. Nice they added TPMS. I'm a real believer in a trailer TPMS. Gary

Good question. No. Both the Classic and the Tommy Bahama have interiors that are exclusive to their model lines. The Classic interior is the best of the best, with inclines built into the lounge, purpose built Villa furniture etc. That being said, the Tommy was very nice!

Beautiful camper. Perfect in every way except for the twins to instead of a queen.
A queen is a standard feature in another floor plan
When they offer a compressor based frig as they do in the 30 Globetrotters I would be more interested.

@@gcragg11 some of us like ice cream, and we like it COLD! don't mean to shout there. and in TX, compressor frigs work better in the heat. and with all the solar, should be ok.
Jon Todd Ya... maybe. But as a Canadian boondocker. That doesn’t travel north or south trying to stay at 70 degrees. Relying on solar is... well... NOT so reliable. We don’t like generators so keeping our batt demands low is important.
So while for a lot of RVers that have a lot of solar and the climes to support it...or plug in. These fridges are good.
I just hope for guys like me the ol three way never goes the way of the dodo bird..:- )

I'm a min and half in and already afraid. So now when my phone opens up in my pocket it could unroll the awning while driving down that road hehehe yea that could be real bad.
When it is plugged in to the tow vehicle, the awning is electronically locked closed so that cannot happen. You must unplug from the vehicle and push 2 buttons inside the rv to unlock from the safety position.

Holy smokes, $150k for a tow behind?!? That’s 4x the cost of a very nice fiberglass travel trailer with twice the inside space!
It will last 10x longer. It is not for everyone
I agree about lasting longer! We looked at hundreds of travel trailers. We currently own a Class A Winnebago Tour. The quality is outstanding. When we decided to change to a travel trailer, we were looking for something that would last with quality close to the Tour. After visiting dozens of places we decided to keep the Tour due to the poor material/quality. I pulled open a drawer in a brand new unit and the front came off-it was held together with staples. The faucets looked like metal but were plastic. Trim was cracked, cabinets made of particle board, cheap furniture. We finally looked at an Airstream and were surprised by how spacious it was without slides (one less thing to break) and the quality of the cabinets/furniture were the same as a $250K+ Class A. You really do get what you pay for and five, ten, fifteen years from now, the Airstream will still be around.
The build quality and decor (i.e. it isn't brown and beige) are also 4x better, so it's a wash.

I saw it’s $161,000 on the Airstream website. I love the design for the Airstream Classic 2020 but for $70K you can get a WAY BIGGER 40 ft long 8ft tall interior Keystone Residence RV trailer with more features and equal luxury design.
@@omarrochet that is true but I've pulled and lived in both over the last 6 years b/c of work. Airstreams are just better built, easier to tow, and safer when parked....now are they worth an extra 100k new, no.
Fortunately for me I found a 2018 Classic fully loaded and upgraded, this fall for 48k from the original owners and couldn't be happier.
No msrp or out the door cost! The price must be outrageous.

I really hate the looks of those Airstream awnings. They should let you select from a few different designs/colors.
I dont understand why the decor in these amazing Airstreams are so dark, seemingly "old fashioned" and the dividing curtain door , why not a solid pocket door?
This is just a guess, but it seems these companies believe that dark wood = rich and luxurious. I believe it may hide dirt better, lol. But I agree - that is the darkest bathroom I've ever seen. Yuck.
A lighter coloured option is available.
I absolutely love this rich dark wood. The counters and furniture are a lovely light contrast as is the reflective ceiling. Just a gorgeous trailer!

Caravans sold in the UK have no character. Dull white (mainly) Wendy houses on wheels. Just my opinion but hey ✌️
Why would they put twin beds instead of a master bedroom. They had me till then.
Some of us would prefer the twin beds. I travel with my adult disabled son. Twin beds make more sense for us.
There is a queen bed model.
It takes the guy a whole shift to make a door because They have never modernized the factory. It's a $60,000 camper for only 150 grand.

You get more sleeping space with twins as well as more floor space and storage.

I have owned three Airstreams in my RV career and still have my 1994 30 ft. Excella. IMHO, anyone who spends this kind of money for an Airstream is a fool soon parted with their money. Airstreams are NOT the RVs they once were... and if you must have an RV (and only that same fool ever buys a new one) they are several other brands I would consider well BEFORE I ever purchased an Airsteam... but... you go ahead anyway... you are welcome to throw away your money any way you want.
Just bashing without supporting data is not useful.
