Born in Mount Vernon 1950, lived in Yonkers/Pleasantville/Tuckahoe until 1974…had one opportunity to move back in the eighties but passed…will never move back again despite having family there still.

There is a long,long history of Black Americans in Westchester County ,Even during the "Great Migration " my in laws in the 1920s up to 1960's first stop from the South was New Rochelle and family is still there. I left NYC in 2011 to NC but seriously considering Westchester return.
