What about Ossining??? Missed the mark not mentioning it when talking about the River Towns, however good that you mentioned Ossining during the history section! Hands down my favorite place in Westchester because: 1- Affordable beautiful Victorian & historic homes, 2- Very walkable- including supermarkets, restaurants & Metro North Station, 3- Multiple hiking trails in the center of the village, 4-beautiful parks, 5- **Only** Nationally Registered historic downtown in Westchester County, 6- Beautiful churches & historic architecture 7- Great towns surround Ossining- Croton, Yorktown, Chappaqua, Pleasantville, Briarcliff, Sleepy Hollow, Tarrytown, TONS of hiking/nature, State Parks 8- Close to Amtrak station in Croton, 9- Fascinating history- used to be named Sing Sing, major industrial hub, 10- Last but not least- the amazing diversity

Thanks for commenting and sorry about not mentioning Ossining in the Rivertowns. How could I miss that? Wow, you really are an expert on Ossining! I think I should do a video just on Ossining. And when I do, I'm going to contact you for help to get the inside info. Thanks again!

It’s a nice area. Hard to beat the location. Kind of like a “secret” area since a lot of people aren’t too aware of it.

Well, don't move to Yonkers if school are important to you. I grew up in Crestwood in the 1970's and went to Roosevelt. It was a great public school, and sent scores of students to Ivy League and other top schools every year. But then, Judge Leonard Sand decided that Yonkers schools needed to integrate. So, minority students were jammed into Roosevelt HS, and turned it into a mess. All of the good students left, and within a few years, the school even lost its accreditation, because they were graduating illiterate minority students. Years later, illustrious Judge Sand said he regretted what he did to the schools in Yonkers while he was kow-towing to the gods of woke social justice.
I've spoken to teachers at that time, who are now friends, and they reported that all discipline went out the window, students didn't want to learn and were arrogant and violent, and so they all left.
So, avoid Yonkers if you have kids, and value their education. Thank you judge Sand; just what Yonkers needed. Some stupid self-righteous social justice warrior screwing everything up, because he just couldn't fathom what could possibly go wrong, and then apologizing later, as if that helps.
