Just tested the vault keys at sea dog's rest, I'm pretty confident it doesn't work. Used vestiges of power to mark chest spawns; not a single chest with the vault key.
the spot is fairly precise, i had to fidget with it a little bit to get it to work myself. that being said, it seems that ones actually been patched anyways.

If Skellies stop spawning when you dig, sell, and dive to a new server. It’s not uncommon to get multiple waves of skellies with zero vestiges but I can assure you it works. Made millions of gold and many gold hoarder level over community weekend.

It's a pity. I've just tested it and I think the bug with the skeleton fleet has been fixed. Each item in the galleon can only be taken once.You can't use it repeatedly.
the ships dont spawn with loot thats been taken from the prior spawn so you'd for example have to grab a vestige first time, then swap to another piece of loot for the second spawn, them re-grab the new vestige that spawns on the 3rd go around, repeating that in a loop
@@maksc3781 I just boarded the boss and it had the item on it the first time, and I saw the extra item the first time but the second time I went over there was literally no loot on board. :(
I just did it and it worked perfectly fine, but I did it on Sea Dog's Rest. Don't see how that would be an issue if you're on the same island or not though.
Can confirm by the millions of gold and tons of rep I printed over community weekend that the vestige of power exploit was still working as of this morning.

vestige of power is working, just go to d8 and repeat captains vault bounty + if you can get 2 friends one of them can go to crescent isle and stack keys in case if you got map piece for it with mark
listen i know its just a game, and you should know that too, but like how did you grow up? How in what possible way do these exploits harm you? This isn't destroying the game, do you care about the games gold economy? Like you don't have to do it, why report it.
The shrine of the hungering is best imo. I've done it as a duo. One focuses on the bottom part, one up top. We can cycle the whole thing in 1 min or less( not counting dying). We try to stack all the loot by the merm and ghost ride our ship so no one comes near. We've made millions in a couple hours, of course with an emissary. Ome will go get the ship and sail to an outpost while the other continues on resetting the loot until they're needed to vote. The rest are pretty useless and tedious imo. I earn faster doing world events, but the shrine is definitely good with a crew mate.

The Vestige of Power method was patched yesterday LMFAO. The skeletons no longer spawn. No skelly, no loot.
