- đ In an attempt to try something different I wanted to do a one take, zero edit film. Just press record and see what would happen in those 10 mutes or so. And when I saw a friendly looking taxi driver leaning on his Lada Niva in the Georgian town of Chiatura I had an idea. I gave him 10 Lari and said let's go somewhere...well let's just say there isn't much to see in Chiatura...đŹđȘ
I once drove with a Georgian taxi driver. He blew through every red light. "What the f*** are you doing" I asked. "Real men don't stop at red lights" he replied. We came to a green light and inexplicably he stopped and waited. "What are you doing now?" I asked. "Well, what if another real man is coming the other way" he answered.

I come from Chiatura. People there are very welcoming and friendly especially with the foreigners. This town is much more than those old buildings. Those people don't have much but they are still happy. Most people in Chiatura has a great sense of humor. It's a very peacefull place and there is no crime. Few kilometers away from Chiatura is a stunnig nature of a country side(to any direction). Waterfalls in the forests, mountains and castles on the top of the huge rocks. Those things are top of the iceberg you can see in Chiatura.
Honestly, it seemed like a nice town, to me. The old architecture is beautiful. I don't understand a word of á„áá ááŁáá ááá, but the written script is stunning.
I felt like the driver had some healt issues,it really touched my heart,I almost lost tears to see this old man with his condition trying to work for u is family. I suppose its a tuff world to be a man aswell. Nice video,not bored for 1 minute

Glad someone said something. This is the only thing about watching Bald that bothers me. Of course they don't understand it when he says it. He's may even be right to an extent. But he does have a tendency to make some hateful off-the-cuff remarks. He's a lovely guy still at heart, he just is unintentionally insensitive at times, I think. Ye good friend of mine lives there, visit sometimes, the sound systems in the nightclubs are mostly crap, drinks are overpriced no where to park my car ever (stupid parking pass system too) and rent is atrocious. Very very glad I don't live there, its alright to visit for a short while but doesn't bring me much joy, homelessness is a serious problem there too.

When I was 16 I bought a YUGO for $25 because I had never seen one, and I needed a cheap car. It had been sitting for some time and the brakes were locked up in place. I hooked a rope to it and drug out of its spot and freed them up. Surprisingly it ran and moved so I thought how bad could it be. I was finally able to put it on the road, and started discovering why it was sitting for so long. It was horrible. 3 cylinder ( i could get it to speed on level ground ), The doors were sooooooo thin it was like being in a tuna fish can( barely wider than the glass and rubber ). The heat didn't work, no radio, ash tray-Lighter power socket. I could hear the tires rolling over the road, what a piece of shit it turned out to be. Life lesson learned. Georgian Taxi drivers are some of the most heart-warming, friendly and smart people in the country. I once stopped a taxi and while driving we had a half-hour long discussion about Jews, USSR and cultural marxism as a whole.
