- WE DID IT BOIS!! Sub 1 24 has been done :)
After that sick lap 1 and 2 I was very nervous and messed up the first shortcut, but I still managed to save it fairly well. 2nd shortcut was also sloppy but it was just enough to get that sub done.

Went back to Mario Odyssey to 100% it again. The only 3 Power Moons that I need are:
Metro Kingdom's Jump-Rope Genius (100 Jumps)
Seaside Kingdom's Beach Volleyball: Hero of the Beach! (100 Hits)
Snow Kingdom's Iceburn Circuit Class S
I even played Luigi's Balloon World for hours to buy every costume and the shop Power Moons. I could quit playing since I'm already at 999 Power Moons, but it's the principle of getting 100%. I even did the difficult Dark Side moons like the Invisible Road with the Piranha Plants, Breakdown Road with the Bullet and Bonzai Bills, and the Vanishing Road sprinting and rolling just in the nick of time before the timers go out. Those took only a few tries, but these 3 are just unbearable.
For the volleyball one use two player mode and control only cappy, it is easier, for the jump rope one, throw your cap when there are fast jumps

The Hitman well in theory a 1 22 is possible with the current strats, I doubt we will see that anytime soon though.

@SpekStyle Do you have a specific video on this matter to prove it without a shadow of a doubt?? I'm still practicing the shortcuts, and I get reset every time. Maybe I'm just not attacking them at the exact specific angle.
The line I take here is pretty precise, if you want to safe it you should make a wider turn.
Yeah I did it! Pretty much had to bound to the summit of that mound before making it to the course though, huge time saver!
so there's a shortcut, oh well normal way was doable enough for me to get the moon
How many hours did you spent on this?
I tried this 2 hours, but I cant get under 1:28...
I will try it again and use your strategy in the tunnel!
R Sotek Don't know for sure but alot more as no one had videos online for strats like this so I had to come up with strategies myself

How do you manage to go out of bounds without getting taken back to where you went of track? As it put Me back to where I left the track.
You need to stay out of the Out of bounds area. Taking a tighter line than the one showcased here results in a respawn.

Look, im currently sitting at 52nd in the world and I know that unless u found a momentum glitch, that speed doesn't make sense. My time is 1:26:11 and I've been playing for ages as in months, and I got the time legit. How did you get that much speed?
Momentum glitch?? No idea what you're talking about, I've always been open and helpful about everything I've been doing on this track. Do you have a vid? Without you posting something like a vid there's no way I can help you with the parts you're struggling with.
You see the thing is I'm not actually struggling with anything, but thanks for offering! It's just the speed you were going at seemed unnatural to me especially at the start, where I roll a bit before bounding and it looked as if you were accelerating too quickly. Sorry for assuming anything I realise that this time must have taken a lot of time to achieve 😇
There is no glitch in this run other than the skips, I was stuck on 1:26 for a while aswell, just keep practicing the snow movement and the tunnel and I'm sure you can improve

You have to time your bound correctly. Try delaying it a tiny bit if you have trouble with it.
Yes I have found this works as well, bound after your landing bounce for less snow time

Alex W Yeah he beat me 2 days ago, it was fun while it lasted. Being unrivaled for ~50 days doesn't help with motivation, don't think I want to take it back, props to him!
Cannot beat this or the level on dark side with the rockets. They are the only three moons I cannot get. This level is impossible.

This doesn’t work every time I do what you did bounding off the hill cappy says I’m going the wrong way and I get teleported off
Then you're taking a too tight line, try bounding off a bit more to the right
I don’t need it anymore for some reason I bounced really high and used it to my advantage and skipped a lot of it
I've found that bouncing off the right edge gets speed and it is safe
It doesnt work for me been trying

Anytime I get past the hill on the first shortcut it just respawns me on the track near the wooden corners. I hate this race, it is pretty much ruining the game for me since I need the star to 100% it. If I can't get this star soon, I may just not bother 100%ing the game and move on.
You must be taking a too tight line, there's a respawn zone near the hill you should be dodging.
SpekStyle Oh ok, ya I am hugging that hill as close as I can because I assumed getting too far away would be a respawn. My usual attempts are closer to the shortcut you took in the 3rd lap.
I ended up beating it normally by not doing the power bounce leading up to a few corners so I could focus where I landed and be able to launch myself forward. I may come back to it after the 100% and see if I can get the shortcuts down. Thanks! And great job, I see you are still #1, are you trying to get a better time just in case someone gets close or have you moved on?
FireMrshlBill good luck! No plans for improvement, top 10 hasn't changed in a few days so I don't feel really threatened. Will defend this though
I think they widened the respawn area, because I followed this exact line about 30 times and it takes me back to the track every time, no matter how wide or tight of a line I try.
Carbaholic it still works so you must still be doing something wrong. If you want usefull advise upload some attemps so people can actually see what you're doing wrong

You don’t help at all I try the short cuts and it sends me back and I don’t hit the invisible walls!!!!
Double ACT There are no invisible walls. There are only respawn zones which you should be avoiding, so you getting respawned means you're taking a faulty, probably too tight, line. Watch carefully where I go and try to go a little bit wider.
