  • I start my day in New Orleans with a swim at my hotel and then I have breakfast and coffee at Backatown Coffee Parlour. Next, I attempt to drink at the famous Carousel Bar inside the Hotel Monteleone. Then I have a lunch of French-Creole cuisine at the historic Galatoire's. After that, I enjoy an absinthe frappe at the Old Absinthe House, before getting espresso at PJ's Coffee. Then I check out the New Orleans Pharmacy Museum in the French Quarter. Following that, I explore Louis Armstrong Park and Congo Square. For dinner, I get some of the best fried chicken in New Orleans at Willie Mae’s At The Market, which is inside the Pythian Market food hall. For my last day in New Orleans, I see Tennessee Williams’ House before heading to the airport to fly back to NYC.

    just finished watching your four day tour of New Orleans and I enjoyed it a great deal. I am from Baton Rouge which is about 45 minutes from NO and I have to say you gave yourself a very nice tour of the city. You did not miss much with the carousel bar but it is a nice bar and the Bartenders are usually very friendly. The Food in New Orleans is great but you would be surprised how different some of the same meals taste just driving 1 1/2 hours to Lafayette and exploring the food culture in that Acadiana area. Truly enjoy your videos, I hope your viewership continues to grow.

      New Orleans is easy to visit. Perfect for drinking cocktails and eating. Although I don’t think it’s popular for east coast northerners to visit since Florida is usually the common getaway.

    So unfortunate about the tiny fried chicken portion, but at least you'll be properly prepared to make multiple orders if you ever come back!

    • @Jamesnu
      @Jamesnu  Před rokem +1

      Yep, I figure that if I just ordered double of what I had, with two sides, I should've been fine.

    you got alot of content from that trip!! did you have fun editing the footage and reliving your visit? you really did alot in those days👍 how was the fried chicken so good in your books? was it the all around crunch and coating? was it spicy? too bad the othe components were lackluster. cant wait to see what's next!!

    • @Jamesnu
      @Jamesnu  Před rokem +1

      It was definitely nice to relive these moments. I'm really glad that with the videos I make I can revisit these experiences whenever I want. To me, good fried chicken has to be hot, fresh, and juicy with a nice flavorful and crunchy skin. That chicken I had ticked all of those boxes. I just wish I had more!
