  • I travel to New Orleans, Louisiana from NYC for an amazing trip! I start my adventure in the French Quarter with a po boy sandwich from Killer PoBoys. Then I get a great donut from Hurts Donut Co. After that, I try to tour the Gallier House before I walk around the French Quarter, Jackson Square and the Mississippi River. Next, I check into my hotel, the Hotel St. Pierre, a French Quarter Inns hotel. For dinner, I eat at Krystal, a regional fast-food chain that’s similar to White Castle. Finally, I walk down Bourbon Street at night.

    Need to come down for Mardi Gras. I go to New York every year after Thanksgiving. Always search for a great espresso. Do you have a recommendation for the best shot? Been to Zibetto and I found it too sour for my taste.

      I definitely want to experience Mardi Gras there someday! There are definitely a lot of great places for coffee in NYC. I like La Cabra a lot.

      I didn't get to go to the original Willie Mae's Scotch House, but I did get to go to the Willie Mae's At The Market food hall. Yeah, the chicken was amazing! I really want to go to the original location now!

    The NO airport is in serious need of an overhaul and upgrade because it's a dump!

      I was actually really impressed with the New Orleans airport. I was in the new terminal completed in 2019 so I never got to experience the old building.

    You said the hotel you stayed at was haunted. Was is The Andrew Jackson Hotel?

    • @Jamesnu
      @Jamesnu  Před 2 lety +1

      Nope, it was the hotel St. Pierre in the French Quarter. It's made up of multiple buildings and I think one is supposedly more haunted than the others. It was decent and I got my room for a good price, so I was happy.
