The roof definitely makes the hotel stand out, even in this crowd of skyscrapers. Great video as always, glad to see you happy with Bella, she looks like a good person for you bud !
Hey Mary that’s amazing! :) thank you so much, I’d love to know which has been your favourite so far. I’m doing the Bessborough hotel this Sunday in Saskatoon! I’ll see you then
I worked in PR at the hotel from 1984 to 1987 which included Expo 86. There was major renovations going on to bring it back to its original splendour. Hilton had modernized it in the 70s. They were making Floor 9 a hotel within a hotel with its own concierge 24/7. Anyway they were about to furnish the 9th floor with antique furniture when one of the housekeepers, who had been there since the 40s, told the General Manager that Hilton had stored all the Chippendale furniture on the 17th floor. Basically the attic. So there it was, all the original furniture in pristine condition, which went into all the rooms on the 9th floor. Just a little bit of trivia.
Thats such an amazing story and hey thanks for watching. The Hotel is so beautiful so yo must know all about it. Have you watched the other episodes in my railway hotel series :)
I just commented on your Royal York video. Our trip ends with three nights in the Hotel Vancouver. Your videos have made me look forward to the trip even more. Thank You.
@@trav4oilers I just discovered your channel and have only seen the Royal York, Hotel Vancouver, and your Canadian trip. Enjoyed them all. I will be watching more.

It's just for the summer my friend. The regular content will return in Sept!
The "Lady in Red" supposedly haunts the Hotel Vancouver; would have been cool to hear and see something about her.
There is always a part 2 that could happen ;) Thanks for watching and hope you enjoy the rest of the series at the other railway hotels!
The channel will return to hockey videos in September. It’s a summer travel series
