      Awe thank you! I advise you arch your finger like a hook. It sounds weird. Lol. But yeah like bend it slightly and hold it there so u aren't over poking the skin and making it uneven . So when u put your finger straight nothing will overlap. I would love to know what design u are doing!!!

    A couple months ago I did a stick and poke with a needle and a random ink it's stayed for a couple weeks and then it formed a crust and I was able to peel it off and now there's only little scars I redid them and once again they stayed a bit and then formed a crust and then went away. Why did it from a crust and if I use tattoo ink will it not do that, I didn't even go too deep and it didn't get infected. I did one on my arm with a different random ink and that quickly faded and got infected. Idk what I'm doing wrong, help ?

    • @gingerscozycrochet
      @gingerscozycrochet  Před 3 lety +4

      Gotcha. Yes use tattoo ink since it more of a permanent type. So the layers of skin is the healing part. Never scratch at that. It is what the color has seeped into. And I have 3 tattoos that are exactly like that! It took me a while to figure it out! Lol so always keep it moist so it doesnt form the crust. Like keep a small bottle of aquaphor at all times! So go over it 3 weeks after ur last time u did the tat dont eant to do it too soon cause it had to have time for the shine to regenerate and heal first.
      Best tip
      Use Mom ink from amazon its about $9 .
      Go in more sideways at an angle to make sure u getting in deeper.
      Go over the tattoo 8 times! Make it dark as shit! That's how u knownitneill last longer!
      Always keep moist. Dont scratch no matter what!
      Good luck!! Keep me informed if u ever need advise got me up again! I'll send you my email !

    • @gingerscozycrochet
      @gingerscozycrochet  Před 2 lety +7

      Some people puncture til they hear a pop in their skin I don't really do that. I know I've gone in deep enough when I can feel it. If that makes since. So I go in once "poke" that area then continue on. U will know 😉 try a small area like a smiley face or just two dots somewhere on your body and test it out. I buy my ink off Amazon. I don't use the ink in this video anymore cause it caused a blowout and fading so use Mom's ink!!! I don't clean off the area after every poke . I kinda do a section then wipe when I feel ready. I poke the area until I see that the ink has dried up. Cause it's not useful dry. So I will wipe then. And repeat that. I hope I helped dear.! If u have any more questions let me know 🖤

It might cause in infection but not for sure on that either. I just wouldn't do it. 😬 I get my 90% alcohol from Walmart near the Band-Aids for about $1.19 somtimes less I can't remember the price.

    You make it look so easy! I had to push so hard to get the needle into my finger skin - it was so tough I sat in the bath to do it so m skin would get softer first😂 although I do use seeing needles, idk but I assume they're thicker than proper needles.

      Oh no!! I'm so sorry it was hard And I bet it hurt worse! 🥺 I've had about two years of experience so far so I'm kinda use to it^_^ so I use professional tattoo needles. They are called round liners . So I use 1005 RL
      I get them off amazon and they are amazing cheap! I haven't used a sewing needle yet, but I know some people do. I bet it is harder to puncture the skin. Cause the round liner needles I use aren't just one straight needle. They are bracketed with other needle in a circle. So it's multiple needle goin into the skin at a small radius. I wish I could send u some needles! I def would! I have a shit ton!

      So the needles I use are a 1003 RL or a 1005rl (which means round liner.) Those are the line needles.
      For shading use like a 1009rl or up. U can use magnums as well. There are charts online u can screenshot to Give you a guide. It gets kinda expensive but still cheaper then going to a professional! As long as u can draw and focus then u got this!

    • @gingerscozycrochet
      @gingerscozycrochet  Před 2 lety

      Not as bad as u would think! Its 100xs less painful than a gun! Promise u that! It hurts when u aren't use to it at first with each tattoo just in the beginning. Like little pinches at first then ur skin gets use to it throughout the process and soon it won't feel bad ! My ankles and my pinky finger hurt the most cause they had the least amount of skin and fat and muscle on my body 😊

      It's lil tiny pokes like an iron check on ur finger. After a while u become use to it and the area becomes numb with pain then u relax and it becomes normal. Lol

    • @gingerscozycrochet
      @gingerscozycrochet  Před 3 lety

      Yes they are I use tattoo ink which is a permanent type of ink and when you use the needle it goes into the Dermal parts of your skin underneath the other layers of skin so it will definitely stay there the rest of your life that will fade but not too much
