  • hiii guys
    last month i went to a poke tattoo workshop, so now that i have the materials to continue tattooing, i'm very excited to tattoo other people! this time i wanted to practice with myself, and i think it turned out very well for my second time doing it! i'm thinking about creating an insta account :)
    *MORE ADVICE I FORGOT TO PUT ON THE VIDEO!*
    -to know if you're doing it right, u should hear a little 'pop' while tattooing.
    -i cleaned very well the area sometimes to know if it's going well, since it's spot by spot i needed to check it out a few times
    -before tattooing, clean the area with alcohol or something similar
    -wash your hands before and after tattooing!

    She's over here doing it with all the steps and safety and hygiene, while me and my friends legit did it outside on the grass while skipping class using a sewing needle we borrowed, a tattoo ink (we study in art so it's available) and some hand sanitizer. We are very stupid (luckily it didn't get infected so that's good).
    Don't skip class to tattoo yourself kids.

      @@g1gglezl4ughz15I sanitized it every day like twice or three times a day with hand sanitizer, which probably wasn't such a good idea but it worked ( I only used this bc I didn't have anything for tattoos), I also tried to hide it from sunlight as much as I could and avoided scrubbing the tattoo in the shower for the first few days.
      However my tattoo only lasted for 2 months, so if you want yours to last longer, you should redo the tattoo after like a week ( I think) to make it last longer

    I’m seeing a lot of 12/13 year olds on here saying that they’re gonna do this, y’all there’s a reason they don’t tattoo ppl that young. You’re still growing and your skin is growing and stretching with you. Even if you do everything right, everything hygienic (I’m not even gonna talk abt the ppl saying they’ll use sewing needles), there’s a chance for infection, blowout, uneven lines, and warped tattoos. That tattoo is gonna be on your body forever and I promise that you won’t be into the same things at 20 as you were into at 12. But anyways, I don’t have control over your body so if you do end up doing this, pls at least follow these instructions when your tattoo is healing (from someone w multiple tattoos): if doing the Saran Wrap, keep it wrapped for 12-24 hours before removing it, after removing it, wash it gently in lukewarm water with UNSCENTED antimicrobial soap and pat it dry with paper towels and once it’s fully dry, apply a very very light amount of undcented lotion (aquaphor or nivea seem to be most suggested by tattoo artists). During the time it’s healing (usually abt 3-4 weeks), you should be cleaning your tattoo 2-3 times a day, avoiding any type of sunlight on your tattoo, don’t apply any type of perfumes, lotions, sunblocks, sprays, etc to the tattoo. Fresh tattoos are open wounds, treat it gently and with the right aftercare if you do plan on giving yourself stick and pokes

    • @magdalenacoates5748
      @magdalenacoates5748 Před 3 lety

      they make a huge difference. you can use different sizes and different needles, such as round liners, round shaders, magnums, etc. they’re also sterile so obviously a lot safer. the tattoo turns out a lot better and it’s much more safe, i highlyyyy recommend getting some professional needles

    • @milly6019
      @milly6019 Před 4 lety +4

      Van essa you can use a soft graphite pencil and transparent paper. You just draw on that paper with a harder push than usual. Then you moist your skin and put your stencil on it. Make sure that the side with the graphite lies on your skin. Now moisten the stencil for about 10 seconds and remove it. Worked good for me, but I’m not entirely sure how safe it is to do it that way

    • @EzgiJo
