- hiii guys
last month i went to a poke tattoo workshop, so now that i have the materials to continue tattooing, i'm very excited to tattoo other people! this time i wanted to practice with myself, and i think it turned out very well for my second time doing it! i'm thinking about creating an insta account :)
*MORE ADVICE I FORGOT TO PUT ON THE VIDEO!*
-to know if you're doing it right, u should hear a little 'pop' while tattooing.
-i cleaned very well the area sometimes to know if it's going well, since it's spot by spot i needed to check it out a few times
-before tattooing, clean the area with alcohol or something similar
-wash your hands before and after tattooing!

She's over here doing it with all the steps and safety and hygiene, while me and my friends legit did it outside on the grass while skipping class using a sewing needle we borrowed, a tattoo ink (we study in art so it's available) and some hand sanitizer. We are very stupid (luckily it didn't get infected so that's good).
Don't skip class to tattoo yourself kids.
yael ildis did you use a sowing thread ?
@@florianschmidt5828 huh? No I was using just the needle because I needed something sharp
Howd you take care of it after?
@@g1gglezl4ughz15I sanitized it every day like twice or three times a day with hand sanitizer, which probably wasn't such a good idea but it worked ( I only used this bc I didn't have anything for tattoos), I also tried to hide it from sunlight as much as I could and avoided scrubbing the tattoo in the shower for the first few days.
However my tattoo only lasted for 2 months, so if you want yours to last longer, you should redo the tattoo after like a week ( I think) to make it last longer
Sounds like you were living your best life✨
week 2 of quarantine got me like...
Just 2 weeks?! I've been in quarantine for a month now 😭😭😭😭
SAME LMAO
i already have three stick and pokes😭
Legit just got my stick and poke tattoo kit in the mail today!!
@@delaneyhill4661 same lol i finna do another one but it kinda be hurting doe
My mom telling me not to write on my arms
Me:
If you actually do it can you tell me how it went and if it faded
Mi La do not do this, it’s really dangerous and your going to get infected most likely. And yes of course it’s going to fade, especially if your still growing it could stretch and go horrible, if you want a tattoo then wait until your 18 and go and get one done properly :) just looking out fo you
Mi La i will never do stick ‘n poke by myself, i’m a pussy
PeggersFN i have 17 and i have multiple big to normal tattoo i think she can go see a tattoo artist whenever she want 👀
@@Peggers I did 2 stick n pokes by myself at 2am a long time ago and they didn't get infected and havent faded lol they still look BOMB and I dont regret it
she said ✨✨✨
As an experienced stick and poker, I just wanna let everyone know that there’s like a 99.8% chance your stick and poke will blow out pretty bad. Definitely do your first one somewhere hidden and don’t do another one for at least a month or two so you know how your stick and pokes look when fully healed!!
Hold up-
It needs to heal? Mine was perfect ly fine right after I was done
Zofia ofc it’s gonna need to be healed lol you just stabbed yourself
@@andrea-vw3er Girl, of course it needs to heal. Tattoos are skin trauma and they are at risk of infection.
Me seeing this 1 year after getting 5 stick and pokes on my hand and tattooing my knuckles... All with stick and poke... By myself...: 👁️👄👁️
My first stick and poke says literally fuck above the point where my leg meets my mons venis (I'm german so I don't know if thats translated correctly). As a normal person you will never see it unless I show it to you and I'm so in love with this tattoo
Lol she is so carefull and clean while I'm on my bathroom floor at 5 am with a random needle and some ink poking a smiley face into my finger bcuz I'm sad as hell lmao
Hey I mean, only live once right? Gotta just say fuck it sometimes and be human. Plus it'll be a cool reminder of where you've been and how much you grow as things get better in life.
Literally same! Which finger? Mines on my middle lol
literally just did the same thing on my leg. my smiley faces are downright DEMONIC so i can say im proud of myself. def gonna do more cuz quarantine got me FUCKED
Moomie Zoomie frrr. I’m doing an experiment. I’m sharpening a penicillin and constantly stabbing myself in the same place while making sure it’s covered in ink from a pen. Quarantine is fun
Duuuuuude,i did the same thing xD i feel you
Mexican way: sewing needle, ink from anything , a straight stick, vaporub
Edit:
(I prolly shouldve edited this cuz when i did this it worked for like a couple of days i had the tattoo then later on it turn into a scar sorry for the inconvenience)
EL Ranchero420 😂
i dont have a sewing needle what do i use?
iiGalazy Flower if you don’t have a needle you can’t do it
I used a sewing needle, sharpie ink, a pencil and some hand sanitizer. It’s been a week and it’s not infected 🤷🏻♀️

the little animal crossing sounds make everything even better

This was on recommends for a few days. Is CZcams trying to tell to get stick n poke cuz of quarantine????
Dxmaged Pl4ce i ended up doing it 💀 i love it
Thats what my brain is telling me😅😅😅
Dxmaged Pl4ce hahah yeah probebly it a sign
Yes
I did one today 😂
I’m seeing a lot of 12/13 year olds on here saying that they’re gonna do this, y’all there’s a reason they don’t tattoo ppl that young. You’re still growing and your skin is growing and stretching with you. Even if you do everything right, everything hygienic (I’m not even gonna talk abt the ppl saying they’ll use sewing needles), there’s a chance for infection, blowout, uneven lines, and warped tattoos. That tattoo is gonna be on your body forever and I promise that you won’t be into the same things at 20 as you were into at 12. But anyways, I don’t have control over your body so if you do end up doing this, pls at least follow these instructions when your tattoo is healing (from someone w multiple tattoos): if doing the Saran Wrap, keep it wrapped for 12-24 hours before removing it, after removing it, wash it gently in lukewarm water with UNSCENTED antimicrobial soap and pat it dry with paper towels and once it’s fully dry, apply a very very light amount of undcented lotion (aquaphor or nivea seem to be most suggested by tattoo artists). During the time it’s healing (usually abt 3-4 weeks), you should be cleaning your tattoo 2-3 times a day, avoiding any type of sunlight on your tattoo, don’t apply any type of perfumes, lotions, sunblocks, sprays, etc to the tattoo. Fresh tattoos are open wounds, treat it gently and with the right aftercare if you do plan on giving yourself stick and pokes
yeah and the thing is that when you're around 13 you hear all these people saying "you won't like the things you like right now" but you think that you WILL like it forever but trust me you really don't even when you feel like you're really old
Yes also put it somewhere that won't really grow to much like the bottom of your feet or your ankle. Avoid your hips, hands, chest, thighs, calves, and arms.
I’m 13 I have tattoos (very small ones) my dad is a tattoo artist and supports me I have also done tattoos on friends and family before I’ve been doing fake tattoos from a young age and have done 30 tattoos on others the ones I have are from friends I am using all the right stuff (latex gloves, tattoo needle, the right sterilization and cleaning also I have the right after care) so I’m going to give myself a tiny heart outline on the back of my calf near my ankle so it’s not noticeable
What about doing a finger tattoo?
@@jellyfish7305 no! Below the collar above the cuff is the rule unless you are out of school and I'm a secure job that allows you to have extremely visible tats
these are actually such good stick n pokes wth
thank you so much!🖤
👌
Fr. If I did it, I'd kill myself.
Lol my friend gave me my stick n poke in the middle of French class. She used a sewing needle and some ink she stole from our art teacher. She def did something wrong cause my hand was covered in blood after and it took forever to heal, but 2 years later I haven’t died yet. Just stuck with a really crappy tattoo lol and furious mother.
Definitely following this video for my next stick n poke!
I AM SO GLAD I am not the only one that got a stick n poke done during school 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 but I'm sorry that happened!! Sounds scary :(
hey atleast you have a good ish memory
im trying to learn how to stick n poke myself that looks so good and pretty and easy
Lara Hunter i’ve done my first one and it is nowere near as good and clean as hers lmao welp it’s my first one and it’s always gonna be the shittyiest allways rember be safe w it and personally i wouldn’t recommend it but your proably gonna do it anyways 😁
What can I use for a outline for a stick and poke ? Because i don’t know what to use for a outline
Coolgamer 2416 if you mean like a stencil before you tattoo, non toxic pens are good to draw onto the skin with
practice on an orange
I did mine with a sewing needle and micron pen ink at 2 am during a mental breakdown, didn't turn out much different as I look at it tbh, but it wasn't the safest i guess. If you just doodle on your body it's gonna look shit after some time anyway probably
every time the ink doesnt like go through enough and now i just have dots, you got any tips?
Bruh I DID THE SAME THING YESTERDAY AT 4 AM LMAO
@@chloehilton5049 You have to go over it a few times, I did a touch up a week later after it healed a bit and two years later it's still holding up quite well
@@mumu8133 Didn't really do much, but I sprayed it with antiseptic spray and used regulat moisturizer a few times a day, covered it from the sun with regular clothes, made sure not to get it dirty and overdry it, normally showered with it, but avoided using harsh soaps the first two days. It's best to buy tattoos cream and use plastic wrapper for like two days during the initial healing, but I didn't have any of those.
@@prothipourgostsipras2961 And that's what quarantine does to people lol

dolans smiles i wanna do it but my friends are telling me not to but i wanna do it so bad also idc what they tell me i just dont wanna get ink poisoning
Elia Sfeir its better to do with actual tattoo ink. mine looks horrible as it was done with pen ink. im also pretty sure you cant get ink poisoning unless it's injected into your veins.
dolans smiles I think amazon still works tho. Haha safety first pls
@@eliasfeir235 if u use bic ink you should be fine i used it n mine look good
no don’t use pen ink that so dangerous u can use chinese ink or indian ink it’s safer and it’s only £1 or one doller from where ever u are but honestly it your gonna do it do it which good ink at least be safe don’t forget to be careful w it and have a good day :)
read the description for more advice :)
This is so aesthetic, i just have one question, why the vaseline? :)
i put just a little bit while tattooing, so the needle sticks better on the skin, like using a 'lubricant'. I also use it, as it's sticky, to place the little cup where i put the ink, so it doesn't move :) (i hope i explained it well)
also! since you're literally sticking a needle on your skin, and cleaning it all the time with a harsh paper, it also helps to hydrate the area while doing it
just wanna jump in here and say, my tattoo artist told me never use vaseline, always use aquaphor. vaseline will seal in moisture but won't allow the tattoo to breathe, and can trap dirt/sweat/bacteria/etc. aquaphor won't do that :)
vallraiene oh thank you for that!!!
@@luciaescudero2764 no problem! and thank u for this video, it definitely helped with the tat I did today ;) I have a lil ghostie on my ankle now

how did it go ?
this turned out amazing !! you're so good at tattooing omg
Wow they looks amazing quick question what size tattoos needles did you use were they 3RL ? 🖤
yes!
this is so aesthetic i love ur vibe
I've just got a stick and poke tattoo
its a little wave and it came out pretty well
i covered it up with a bandage, with what should i clean it?
What was that black transfer paper you used to put the design on ur arm?
i'm wondering the same thing..
Carbon transfer paper, it should come with any regular hectograph transfer paper you buy, and if it doesn't then you're not buying the right transfer paper.
i usually don't like stick and poke but yours are amazing!! they look very cute
Just wondering are any areas not good for stick n poke? Tried doing a star like these on my toe kinda around the bone, color did not stay, but the heart on my thigh did. any tips?
i thought she was gonna do her leg at first n i was like how you gonna get your leg up there??? lol
Wait she said you know you’re doing it well when you hear a pop. Wtf?! Does the skin actually pop or sumo when you do a stick n poke?
I mean.. it kinda does? Ever poked a needle through your skin before? :') It doesn't necessarily make a popping sound but your skin does feel like it's sort of "resisting" when you pull the needle out
the animal crossing sounds uwu
also this is so so cute, i cant wait to finally get a tattoo done
ac is the best background music 😻
Omg i love this, you are so talented! I just did my first tatoo today on my finger and i really want to do more. This is soo cool
i know it is sooo addictive haha
@@luciaescudero2764 I actually did end up doing more, I did 2 more during the night! My parents are gonna freak when they find out. I did a cross, mountains and Saturn to represent earth heaven and space. It was so painful but it was cool!
Is it safe to use a normal ink pen to draw out the design on the skin first.....I just bought a kit
it looks so good!
This was so good and thorough! 🖤
Ame , yo hace un mes empecé a hacer handpoke y te salió bellísimo!
Where can I get the needles from and what size?🤔
How much pressure do you have to put on puncturing the ink to the skin?
What if I have no neutral soap to clean the ink away , can I just use normal tap water on a tissue to clean it away the ink on my tattoo?
wow love this!!!
Hi ! Can we use numbing gel or cream before tattooing ourselves ?
Wooow ❤️ that's fabulous ✨
hi!! what materials did you use to make the stencil?
sunny, it`s too cool! where did you buy your tattoo ink?
Where did you get the needles ?
Hello there, what size of needles do you use? And from Amazon or?
Hola Lucía! gracias por el video. Quisiera saber como es que haces el transfer, que pones en la piel para que quede bien pigmentada la tinta del papel trasnfer? gracias!
Can you use witch hazel to clean up as you go along to??
I see you out here with your Tadokoro and Yukihira stickers 😭💕
hiya guys! anyone know whats the vaseline for? just to keep the ink in place??
I wanna do this but I have low pain tolerance and I'm afraid I'm gonna stop not even halfway thru because I can't handle it
How many tines did you went over it??
Hi! I loveee the tattoos you did, I’ve tried doing stick and poke before but everytime I did the ink would just bleed on my skin and there wouldn’t be much ink in the spot I poked, any advice?
Don’t poke as deep into the skin or else it’ll spread out like that
Wait how did you put the tattoo print on you’re arm?
i rlly wanna learn how to stick n poke but im scared it will hurt bad . anyone know the pain level to the stick
What if the ink isn’t staying in the needle?
I did a stick and poke awhile back ( i have 3-4) i did a sad face with x's as eyes and it did indeed get infected it just turns to a scab and its really itchy etc. Just have a clean environment and make sure everything is clean. I'm doing my next one friday when my best friend comes over . She does all of mine
what size needle are you using?
You Are good in this ! Perfect 💞
I was going to do this tattoo for my first one ever but ended up doing something
Else such a nice design
I need to know what song this is. It made me so happy, AC all the wayyyyyy
how much pressure do you use when you poke yourself
can i ask the specific needles you used (eg 3RL, 5RL etc)? i love how they turned out and the thickness of the lines are perfect
i saw one of the comments her reply is 3RL.
i did it in the top of my garage with a sewing needle, pen ink, and rubbing alcohol 💀✨
Where did you get your needle from? Please link me!!
Weird question but how far does the needle need to go in
Ruby Ryan around an 1/8 of an inch or until you feel a slight pop
When doing the design on the skin what kind of pen do you need or can I use any??
I think any
where did you get all your supplies?
i did a stick and poke and regret it badly, please if you know how to get rid of it or even make it fade, please respond 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Hey, what if i can’t buy those tattoo needles which others would you recommend that are available at a regular store?:)
You can find them on amazon, that's where i bought them, but there are tattoo shops where you can buy tattoo material :)
Lucía Escudero thanks
use embroidery needles! they work the best
@@GorillaFlakes no please, obviously tattoo needles will work better! they are easy to find so why using the wrong material that can be dangerous :(
If you can’t buy tattoo needles online, you’re probably too young to have a tattoo.
“Plastic paper” is a bit of an oxymoron don’t you think? Cool idea though
what can i use instead of tattoo pomade?
What type of tattoo needle did you use?
where did you get the tattoo ink from? can i just any sort of ink? where do i get tattoo ink from? please advice :(
I bought it on a tattoo shop, and it's better to use tattoo ink, the brand i used is 'dynamic'
Hi..what size of the needles u using ? N are u using vaseline during the process ? Thanks
what's the name of the instrumental in the background in the beginning/middle of the video?
What kind of needles do you use an Rl?
hows aftercare? would you treat this as a normal tattoo done w the machine or should you take extra precaution w this one?? also does hand poked tattoos wear off faster as opposed to normal tattoos?
same as any tattoo, and no they’re just as permanent
It be looking like my doodles that I do in class when I’m bored
What size needle did you use ?
What kit did you use to do your tattoo??
In love with those!! I want to try out a chinese dragon but it seems to be complicated, maybe I should try out a moon or star?
that is very difficult for a 1st try! Start with something easier, like plants or smth like that? I think that with those if u mess up a bit it's ok bc it's something 'organic' u know, and also practice with the dragon first on fruits like an orange or banana :)
Thank you so much for the advice! Ill listen to it! 😊
What kind if needle are you using?
Super cute! ❤️
Does it hurt really bad ??
my stick n poke healed like shittttt, i honestly don't think i'd recommend it to anyone, tattoos are forever
i crushed up graphite and mixed it with a little water and did it with an embroidery needle.. it’s been probably 6 months and they are fading but i’ll probably do them again soon and add a few :) or i might just order things on amazon to do them with a tattoo gun
did it fade away?
I want to do this but like how do you know how far to stick the needle in the skin?
you should hear like a 'pop', if you can hear it you're doing right, in case it's not very black you can retouch it
@@luciaescudero2764 what does the "pop" feel like if I don't hear it
What size needle are u using
why not a sewing needle? Is the only needle i'm available to get bc of quarentine :(
So just to clarify you have to peirce the skin right? But like how hard do you poke
Just poke as hard ish as you can a good couple times and then wipe the surface with alcohol or hand sanitizer that's what I did about a month ago and now I have a lil heart on my wrist :)
How long does it stay for?
Pretty tattoos❤
Wait do actual tattoo needles make a difference from seeing needles? I’ve been using sewing needles all the time-
they make a huge difference. you can use different sizes and different needles, such as round liners, round shaders, magnums, etc. they’re also sterile so obviously a lot safer. the tattoo turns out a lot better and it’s much more safe, i highlyyyy recommend getting some professional needles
i dont have transferpaper. do you know how i can transfer my drawings to my skin without special paper?
Van essa you can use a soft graphite pencil and transparent paper. You just draw on that paper with a harder push than usual. Then you moist your skin and put your stencil on it. Make sure that the side with the graphite lies on your skin. Now moisten the stencil for about 10 seconds and remove it. Worked good for me, but I’m not entirely sure how safe it is to do it that way
Van essa you can directly draw on your skin with a sharpie
Milly graphite sounds dangerous if it mixes with your blood 😳
Milly thank you :)
• Point and Stick • Makinesiz Tatu
the chemicals in a sharpie wouldnt be better than graphite i guess 😅
Where u get the needles
