  • We got on a tourist bus to go and see some big stone triangles and I found this epic old relic, a lush and green oasis of Frenchness, a historical monument in its own right.

That 4 coil rear set up is unique in Automobile history.A masterpiece of engineering.

The Berber community had the Break (estate) versions of these cars because they could put their tents on the roof when travelling to another location.
The 404 and 504 Peugeots were really great cars !

I have one in North America and it's green. And it's not cheap. Twice as much on the restoration as I paid for the actual car but it turned out absolutely beautiful.

Imagine taking a road trip throughout Africa in this car.

I went to eygpt with my dad years ago, we said when he retired we would buy a 504 and drive one back. They're essentially none existent in the uk and everywhere over there!

I’d love to come over here and buy a bunch of cars to ship back!

@@GeoffBuysCars there was some bizzare tax on new cars over there when I was there. And also the older the car the cheaper it is literally. It's so weird. Couple that with a dry environment and the fact that they just don't scrap cars over there they send them to massive breakers yards eventually but they generally just fix the cars when they break and never throw them away like we do over here. Cars are a disposable asset to Europeans

    The King of Africa.
I bet that car has about 1 million kilometres on the clock.
When I was a child these were the backbone of Ghana.

Cracking vid. I never really understood why such a capable and good-looking wagon could be so highly regarded in North Africa and so under-rated in the UK at the same time. Perhaps your new mate could explain in a later video.

The next draw is the choice of the 2 Volvos with the second prize / booby prize being a camel trophy camel? You did do a deal and buy Michael Jackson didn’t you?

Love it. There’s only one catch... both the camel and Peugeot have to be collected from the car park beneath the Great Pyramid

You should’ve gave him a minute and checked Michael Jackson, he was really asking for it. That was very rude of you, never say no when an elderly man asks to show u something. Learn some manners.
