  • Want to know if Vegamour really works to help thinning hair? You have to have time, money, and patience because they recommend you use the product for 3-4 months before you see results.
    Well, I did exactly that and now I bring you the results - FOUR MONTHS IN THE MAKING!
    You can decide what you think and if you want to try Vegamour GRO Hair Serum (what I used in this video), I'd love it if you used my affiliate link: bit.ly/3iahJV6

    Even besides hair thinning with age, another cause is for wherever you part your hair. It’s that hair part that gets the most sun exposure/damage/hair tension with styles/etc. So to help I try to play around with changing up my part every other day and it has helped tremendously. Worth a try🤷🏻‍♀️

    It would have been great to see the 2, 3, and 4 month review to be in wet hair like the first time. Hard to compared to dry, styled hair. Wet hair clumps together a little more, so the dry hair naturally seems fuller

    Love, love your videos!! You're hilarious and refreshingly honest and I just subscribed. Read to the end for a suggestion for your reviews. Letting you know of something that really DOES work for hair re-growth and it can be free if you know someone who makes their own milk kefir and will share their extra kefir grains, which most of us do because we're just SO happy that someone is willing to try them!! I shared my extra grains with my sister who is not necessarily into healthy eating, etc., in general. And is also very honest. We both experienced hair re-growth which was especially noticeable at the temples and part areas. Those areas where it's been a really long time since you've seen those baby hairs that used to be so common in our youth. Yes!! We both got those baby hairs back!. We've all heard that Kefir repopulates the good bacteria and apparently it extends to hair growth. The health benefits of kefir in general are many but when you can actually experience the return of something from your youth, it's just further confirmation of it's benefits. I'd love to see you make your own milk kefir from someone's free grains and review it on your channel!!

      (This is a long time later but you got my attention!) I drink Kefir daily, it's not homemade though, and I hadn't heard of kefir grains before! What is it, and is it something you drink as well - or do you use it on your hair topically? Thanks, if you see this and respond!
      Continued stress is the big issue for me and my hair loss I believe.

    Awesome review thank you for doing this review. I was wondering if dying, cutting and maybe the way you style your hair may affect the outcome of growth. If you dye and blow dry your hair these things will cause damage and will affect the outcome. I would also be interested in addition to know if you used additional products when styling your hair because that also could affect the outcome.

    • @Allthingsfadra
      @Allthingsfadra  Před 2 lety +2

      Good questions! I think I had one haircut during the four months. Maybe some highlights. I don’t do any hair dye and I don’t blow dry my hair. I let it dry naturally and then sometimes use a flat iron to add curls. I don’t use any additional styling products. So while some of the things I do could potentially cause Bair breakage, there’s nothing specifically I’m doing to the roots that would have impacted growth.

    Be careful ordering vegamour, I was put in auto subscription after selecting one-time purchase 3 times during the order process. Then they charged a restocking fee for returning the items. How you can tell it was a scam: I ordered a 3 month supply of lash serum and they sent me another 3 month supply one month later. So if you order from vegamour watch for the free shipping to say subscription, even if your purchase qualifies for free shipping. Wish someone would have warned me. Good luck.

    From your first video your hair does look thicker! I don't see your scalp much at all now after 4 months, especially the very front top and the sides, but a little everywhere! Oils are good for your hair though. I always recommend a cold water rinse after shampooing and conditioning hair and then add a little castor, almond or Moroccan oil to it.

    • @Allthingsfadra
      @Allthingsfadra  Před 2 lety +3

      Thanks! The best thing to do is find a good stylist that knows how to cut fine hair. Then use a good shampoo and conditioner (my favorite is NatureLab Volumizing). I don’t use any styling products because I find that they weigh my hair down. I usually style with a flat iron (either to straighten or add a few curls) and finish with a little hairspray (I like Pantene flexible hold).

    Does this product cause your hair to be tacky or yucky after application? I am wondering how such serums can be used daily when one does not wash hair every single day. I wonder if it speeds up the hair getting “dirty”… Your name is beautiful and I love the pronunciation of it.

    It's been working for me and it's been a month. I use it daily. Shower my hair about 1 or 2 times a week. You shouldn't wash your hair more than 3x a week. I also use sulfate free shampoo and conditioner. I think that would make a difference as sulfate is bad for your hair. I guess it depends on other things you do to your hair is what I'm getting at. But this is what I've been doing to make it work for me 😊

    I think thinning hair comes from age and also thyroid issues. I have both, I am 62 and have thyroid issues.....I started losing my hair from my thyroid problems when I was about 56 or 57 and the doctor has been constantly increasing my thyroid meds from 25 mcg to 50 mcg over the course of 8 years. I have been taking biotin which I get off of Amazon and it works amazingly it's the one with the coconut oil. I have been using biotin for years and it seems to be the only thing that has helped until I started drinking collagen, I have been on a four-month journey and it has not only helped my hair but my wrinkles have diminished, my skin is so much better and it also has helped my joints, which I only wanted it for my hair, and that was the only reason I bought it. I am so glad I did because I have a friend who happens to be the same age as I am, and she started drinking the collagen about 5 months ago and her hair looks amazing like it did when she was younger or even better now... I have tried this, and it did not work, but the collagen and biotin have worked for me. I cut my hair shoulder length in February and now my hair is almost to the middle of my back. I am very happy I found what I needed for my hair.

    I’m 39 always had thick gorgeous long hair & right out of the damn blue it’s coming out in long thin chunks. My scalps hurting too which I didn’t even know was a “thing” I don’t know what’s causing it. Both my mom & Mawmaw are much older than me & they have thick beautiful hair. Hair loss does not run in my family. I’m so lost & I feel so helpless! I’ve done absolutely nothing different! Nothings changed if anything I’m taking better care of myself. I spent 400$ on a whole food vitamin & some supplements, greens, reds & things like omega 3’s & pre & probiotics. I can’t figure out what’s causing such a significant impact on my body that my hairs literally balding. It’s so devastating! It’s coming out in clumps. I heard covid can cause this but I barely had any symptoms when I caught covid. If covids the culprit I’ll prob be bald the rest of my life bc covids everywhere & here to stay & I have 4 young adult & teen boys who run around everywhere. I’m so lost & so devastated. I’m so sorry! There are so many unknowns when it comes to hair loss and doctors aren’t always a lot of help. I have heard of hair loss from Covid. It also comes from hormonal changes. The biggest issue that a doctor can treat is thyroid issues so if you haven’t had that checked, I would definitely start there. Thin hair runs in my family and this year mine has gotten even thinner. It’s hard, I know!
