Nice video. With your comments I’ve developed a little confidence in getting mine done. I have a 03 intruder. My fan stopped working. Did a direct connection. Realized it’s ok. Need to look further for that sensor don’t know where to go.
Follow the wire(s), you might also be able to find a diagram someplace, I don't recall but I think most anything 1999-2007 Intruder / Boulevard should work for reference purposes.
Nice vid. Looks basically like my 96 intruder. Browsing thru vids seeing how hard it will be to remove my fan and diagnose why it isn't working b4 this indiana weather gets too nice.
Pascal Junger Thanks for the advice, yeah i tried that earlier today on the temp sensor and nothing, i got the bike late last fall, and rode till snowed in, hasn't overheated yet, i believe it probably just needs cleaned in the motor cavity, either way it'll get fixed or replaced. Thanks for your reply, have a safe season of riding
Just got my Suzuki intruder 800. Mines a 94. This was VERY INFORMATIVE. and this is my first bike. Got my license to ride and all. Thanks
Mine is a 93. ;) Got it in non-op condition so it's got a lot of kinks to fix and work out. Hope yours is working well.
It takes some real courage to tackle a Suzuki S50/Intruder...That is a lot of machine in a very small space. Thanks for the video.

Might be your temp switch, I'd see if you can disconnect it and hook 12v to the leads, if it spins up then your problem isn't the fan itself.

Where does the fan plug into
Am I seeing things correctly... is your highway bar attached to your radiator?
