    Most excellent video. Other than the final drive what else has typically needed replacement by 30k miles?

      I would check drum brakes, front brakes, coolant, bleed brakes, if clutch seems to slip relplace that too, spark plugs. Basic maintenance. Owner manual can be found on website.

    Question, how did you get the female coupling holder nut off? I'm talking about the one with the folded lip you need to pry open, but you need to hold the assembly in place to take the 22mm nut off, how did you manage? Vice?

    Hi there 👋. I start reassembling all of this final gear unit yesterday and had a question. Maybe you know how that bond 1207B should be applied? There are 2 holes for breather on final gear case. Thank you.

      @Yololife813  Před 9 měsíci

      Sorry I don’t know how’s that bond or how to apply it. I just replaced the entire shaft drive.

    It looked to me like there were five bolts to remove that frame + the one bolt with the hex head, do those six bolts have a torque spec or do they just going tight with blue thread lock...
    Same question for the three acorn bolts.

    • @Yololife813
      @Yololife813  Před rokem

      I believe They all have torque specs. You can Google it
      I just hand tight them.

    Just today, it happened to my wife's 2009 m50. Question. If you buy a used one from eBay, how would you know that it won't happen a year later again?

    • @Yololife813
      @Yololife813  Před 4 měsíci +1

      You won’t. It’s just a chance you have to take. Ask the seller how many miles is on the bike when the shaft came off. The less miles the better.
      When you get the used shaft inspect and put grease on the splines before install it. Good luck
