Thatâs a whole lot better than no grease even if itâs the wrong grease. Many have nothing there but rust and no good teeth. Still looks great.
I appreciate you showing the 3 different areas. I saw a video on the forward end and rear but not the middle. Time for a new rear tire, so will do this. I did just the two when I first got the bike because I read there was a lack of grease fro the factory and there were failures , so I checked and greased. Looking forward to making sure all 3 points are taken care of. Thanks so much!
Thanks mate from New Zealand. !!!
Thank you so much this was very helpful.Richard from Nova Scotia
Hello, this is a good job. The mechanics look good. I am not sure that the vaseline you are using is suitable. Possibly with Molybdenum Disulfide and in this case it destroys the rubber gaskets.
very well explained thanks for video
@Fernando C , Thanks for watching
â€â€đExcellent
Thanks. Could you add the parts list you need to the description?
@Steve Kratz
Thanks for watching, I already covered parts in video,
Minute: 28:47 Moly grease
36:07 Snapring part number
36:10 Grease seal part number
I will list them in to description too.
a length of PVC pipe over the shaft would make setting the seal easy.
Thanks for your videos on your Suzuki Boulevard. I love watching and getting the confidence to do my own work on my 08 M50. I brought my bike a year ago, and I've noticed when I start my bike with clutch depressed and in neutral, the bike jerks forward. Would you have any idea or suggestions why it does that? I hope I so I can attempt to make the repair myself. Keep up the great videos.
Bonjours pouvaient vous me donner référence des piÚces pour le cardan, et/ou les commander, merci
Do these bolts just going with blue thread lock or,
16:00 is there a torque spec for reinstalling the bolts near the acorn bolts, and the big hex bolt.
16:30. Is there a torque spec for the bolts that came out from behind the body panel
Hi, it is really necessary to change the oil seal or you found it was broken?. Thanks.
@ThePublicPunisher, needs to be changed if you want to do the job once.
Hey what part number is the black plastic seal cover after the snap ring?
Included in video
Having trouble finding that cover after the snap ring - anyone know the part number ? Thanks
Part number for Snapring and seal included in video.
Excellent video. Earned my sub. Followed it to do my own bike. Suggest adding sealant on both sides of "stop" that sits on face of gear housing. Oh...and that f%$#ing snap ring is a cast iron bitch lol
How many miles driven for lubrication?
Every tire change.
Such a long video
