Here’s my pro tip: use a battery impact gun and make sure the battery is almost drained but still usable, if you have a 1000lb torque impact gun, then a drained battery will make it “safer” if that’s the only tool you have for whatever reason

It’s a flat plate with threw holes (the outer plate) why buy one make it in 5 mins

I’d toss a collar on the outside so it can’t go out or really rig it and send a nut and bolt threw side plate as a stopper 😆👊

i always tell DIYers remove with Battery Impact Wrench & tight with Torque Wrench\Digital Torque Monitor & dont repeat clicking\buzz sound. torquing is critical!

A couple of plastic drop center tools help keep the bead opposite where you are levering in the drop center. Makes life much easier... about $20 for 2 on amazon. HF doesn't carry them. Good for you

Centrifical switch could be bad. If it's stuck in the run position the start winding won't get power and that could happen. The centrifical switch is part of The part you plug the wires into the motor.. also check the capacitor using the capacitor function of you volt meter

The best thing to combat all of these problems is 900 grit sandpaper on a 2021 DeWalt orbital sander twice per day at 30 second intervals for 3days and poof. No more nothing. Ya welcome!

Def struggled with that and was painful to watch. Walking around the tire using body weight and one tool would have been easier. I hope your rims survived through that pain. Any damage? I don’t think the hammer is gonna be the cause of the destroyed rims. I am glad you made it through with all your fingers, scared me a few times.

I have a 36"walkbehind lesco and have had that happen to me too. I've got an old scag were I've been lucky enough to piece part and keep it going. They don't make lesco anymore but it's been a good mower. When that happened to me I didn't know much about these mowers but figured things out as they happened, and I've had both sides come out and rub against the guards.
