i'm 17 year old girl from Tokyo. I always remember that everyone feels discomfort too. Just breathe it out and try to calm down as much as you can and let it all out. Don't panic too much in restrooms, pain will go away. I recommend not drinking water after eating if you really can't. Warm your feet, taking hot baths, drinking the right herbal tea and making yourself avoid stressing out by distracting yourself. sleep atleast 7 hours, exercise atleast 1 hour a day and don't let IBS break your wonderful life. I've been in several hospitals lately and they knew it was IBS but all they were giving me is medicines. I've been skipping classes and it saddens me. For teenagers who feels like this, I recommend drinking Yakult. avoid cereals too much. Fruits like banana and avocados helps me a lot. We can get through this.

I have had IBS & Panic Attacks for over 2 years now... These two illnesses are like evil twins. One can trigger the other. I've had the majority of gastrointestinal tests that doctors can perform and they can't find anything. In fact, my family doctor told me that one can eat the same foods for a week and be fine and then eat the same foods again for a 2nd week and get diarrhea / constipation - that's what makes IBS so hard for doctors to treat.

northstar2671 if you can relate to my story im sure your living a nightmare. one day i ate some random food and the next day everything felt apart. i start having diarrhea, wasnt that bad first 2 yrs i could actually go out and enjoy life but in the 3 yr thing got pretty serious. i started loose weight, suffer from gastritis, hemorrhoids and a constant diarrhea. i went about 15-25 times every single day and i visit every doctor in the country, spent thousands of dollars on medication and all doctor said was take drugs. i was so mad taking those drug because i wanted to be healthy and enjoy life but i was sure that by taking those drug i wouldnt achieve real health and i was completly lost. to the point i wanted to commint suicide. until the day i start reading about nature medicine so i first read '' 80 10 10 diet'' and then ''the gerson therapy'' i was in shock on how bad i was eating and i could tell why i got to this point so i said to myself '' this is the only way to cure this'' so i stayed up late every night looking for something organic and after several months i found ''listen to your ibs'' by jini patel thompson, i could tell this was going to help me and after reading it and understanding why my stomach got to that point i could start making dramatic progress. after reading this book and a bunch of others that gave me tips on how to make it more efficient i came up with a plan. btw to came up with this plan it took me 3months of experimenting and after i was ibs free i said to myself that i would help everyone who needed this plan and cure this awful disease.
I came here because dr hyman its correct in everything he said but i found this after reading and spending all that money, i just change somethings to make it more efficient.
INGREDIENT= L-glutamine 500mg, zing 50mg, omega 3 fatty acids, phsylium husk pills(powder form will be less efficient) AND the most important is taking probiotics of atleast 12 billion of good bacteria(theres few probiotics that actually help because when you take it on a capsule or tablet form the stamch acids kill almost everything and the problem is on the small intestine so by the time it reaches the small intestine almost every living bacteria is dead so it doesnt help you) thats why you mixed with SPECIAL DARK CHOCOLATE** this is the most important thing**
HOW TO MIXED YOUR PROBIOTIC WITH SPECIAL DARK CHOCOLATE real easy stuff
warm the chocolate and pour it to a small cup and then open up the pills and start mixing it. Now, you have to take ATLEAST 50 biillions of good bacteria. this is the most important in this plan, you have to buy SPECIAL DARK CHOCOLATE. not milk chocolate, not white chocolate not any other but SPEACIAL DARK CHOCOLATE. this chocolate is harder than any other thing to digest so by mixing it with probiotics makes a killer medicine and the cure for IBS.
      IBS CURE PLAN
upon waking up take 1 pill of 500mg glutamine than wait 20-30 min and take your speacial dark probiotic and wait 1hr to eat breakfast, after breakfast take 2 pills of 50mg zinc and your omega 3 fatty acid.
30min before your lunch take 2 pills of physylium husk
30 before dinner take 2 pills of phsylium husk
after already having dinner dont have anything but water and after waiting 2yrs take the special dark probiotic
******really important to eat atleast 12 billions of good bacteria*****
      THATS IT GUYS
you will see dramatic changes in a couple of days, i feel free to say than in a couple of days you with have dramatic changes but remember to do it as i said, dont leave anything out because everyone is as important as the oother one.
PLEASE EMAIL ME IF YOU WANT MORE HELP AND HOPE YOU GUYS START FEELING ALRIGHT AND HAVE YOUR LIFES BACK! GOOD LUCK

I was born in Toronto. I've had IBS since 1978. Back then it wasn't so bad. I'd only get it on occasion. As the years went by it gradually got worse. I've had two Colonoscopys and they found nothing. I had the upper and lower GI tracks tested....NOTHING! Ultra sound....Nothing. They did everything and couldn't find a thing. They finally told me I had IBS. Back in the 1990's I moved to California and found my problem was getting really worse. Every day. Sometimes it was so severe I thought I was going to have to call 911. I became paranoid to go any where in case I had an attack. My truck had a Porta Potti for an emergency. I used to think.... you know I'd never heard of anyone having this problem back in the 1960's. Then I started thinking. IT'S GOT TO BE THE FOOD! Processed food. What the hell are they doing to us! Government approved too!. I moved back to Canada five years ago and the problems have lessened. I still get it on occasion, but no where near the severity as it was when I lived in the States. I trust no government, and no corporation. They wear horns on their heads! I should add One time I can have eggs and not have any problems, and then another time......... look out! I've used this saying for many years.....My stomach has a mind of it's own!

Sounds like you just have a gut imbalance. IBS is just a common term for an underlying issue. In fact IBS is rarely ever caused by just stress, there’s almost always an underlying cause like SIBO. I’ve had it for a long time and I’m on 3 different types of probiotics for 2 months now and I’m seeing big improvements. It was so bad I couldn’t even work or function, was just bed bound all day and couldn’t eat anything. Now I’m starting to work again and my gut is more calm than ever.

Started off with an elemental diet for 14 days then started using probiotics and some prebiotic supplements daily and I’m now pretty much fully recovered. Can work again and eat everything again. I still take the probiotics to this day

When u go through immense trauma and emotional turmoil if not dealt with ull soon start to see this manifesting. Deal with yr emotional health and this issues will get sorted. Every food can trigger it bcoz its not thr food. Its the emotional wounding stored in tbr bowels. Thats what i learnt from some wise people
And i started doing the work to heal the issue at the root. For me Fear, grief, guilt , shame , regret, loneliness triggered it after my mom passed away. These were issues building up inside me but that event really 0ushed it over the edge. Im now going back to clean the emotional closet and it is making a differencr on my digestive health. Later on, I discovered tumeric. I added that to my kefir drink, because it helps with inflammation. That's all you need to do. Hope this helps someone out there because I know how painful it could be. I gave this remedy to four other people I know, and it worked on every occasion. There was no plan, no "remove, replace, re-establish, repair." She actually seemed baffled at why my gut wasn't healing. What a total waste of money. I'm doing it all on my own now!

No need to do useless diets. IBS is curable.
There is already a cure and a cause known to ayurveda. Medical world does not believe.
What you have is a navel displacement. It gets displaced by lifting heavy weights or just placing your pressure on one leg only. The navel is connected to 32,000 nerves of the body and acts as the center of gravity. when that center of gravity gets distorted, our body reacts to it by damaging the digestive system.
Go to an ayurvedic physician and ask him to put your navel into its position. I was in your position once, but got cured. Remember, even the worlds best medication won't cure you. Not until your navel is in its position.

      @nihalshah198 Před 5 lety +3

@@erenyuksek9733 the navel is the solar Plexus of the body. I mean to say the belly button. Below the belly button, there is an air bubble that connects 32,000 nerves in the body and it serves as the center of gravity of this body. A displacement occurs when you lift something extremely heavy in the gym or generally somewhere where you had to lift. Once this belly button gets displaced, our body reacts to it by damaging the digestive system completely which is why you get IBS. our medical doctors do not believe in navel displacement and therefore IBS has no known cause and cure. If you know an ayurvedic physician in your country or if there is anyone practicing ayurveda, just go to them and tell them that you have a petchoti/dharan/navel displacement. They will be able to put it back into it's position and you shall start healing. Our doctors have been debating on the cures and causes for IBS. trust me, even if you have access to the world's best medication, you are never going to feel well unless your navel is back into it's position. Please note that I have suffered for about one year from Ibs and have now healed once my navel got into it's position. For more information please Google navel displacement/petchoti and you shall know the technicalities of them. I assure you that you shall be cured. IBS is an accute rather than a chronic disease. The problem with medical doctors is that they don't want to believe that something like navel displacement exists. It is my wish that one day everyone knows that IBS is curable and that nobody should be told by the doctor that IBS has no known cure, cause and that it can only be managed by a diet. Hope I have answered you

I have had IBS for nearly 2 years now and it's more then just SIBO. I got tested for Sibo pretty early on and when found to be positive I imminently went on treatment and it cleared it out pretty good, went from getting bloated on practically anyfood you could think of to only getting bloated from bread, pastas and beans. subsequent breath tests have been negative but still many symptoms remain aside from the bloating I get from aforementioned foods I get bad cramping and often times very light colored stool especially when I eat bread, my stool also rarely comes out as long solid pieces as it used to but instead comes out in many small pieces. beyond this some days I have fatigue for almost no reason at all (apparently common in IBS) and I sometimes get these sharp prickly pains over my body that I have no idea what they are but didn't exist before IBS. beyond this I have borderline high BUN and the doctors can't seem to figure why it's so high when my kidneys have shown to be perfectly healthy on several tests but I suspect this too is related to my gut. any help figuring the rest of this out would be greatly appreciated.

I’ve also been having issues with burping and occasionally burped bits of acid or food back up. Does anyone else have this problem and have any of you fixed it?

to let out gas from our stomach..... please be sure to test it.
(sit down on a chair with our back bone straight up)
    1. shake our head, and lift up and down our arms holding bottles(1.5 litter) on our both hands. (up and down)
    2. blow out the air strongly and as long as possible with our mouth for about 5 minutes while shaking our head and arms.
--- if you do this, a while later, some gas will start to come out of our stomach through our mouth in a shape of burping.
    3. when we walk, we should put some more weight on our left leg(foot sole)

There are different types of IBS. Some is more situational, some is easier to cure, and some is more like an inflamatory disorder and an autoimmune disorder. I really wish when I was a teen that I wasnt treated so poorly and told to drink more water and eat more fibre and also rejected by some doctors for even mentioning the word candida, like straight up told to never return to see them. It caused me to accept the unacceptable. It caused me to live with severe depression and a host of other issues. One of the biggest hurdles (I am now in my 40s) was to believe in a cure. I am now on that path. This can be a very serious issue. I unfortunately got rectal surgery (due to an infection that was also swept under thee rug by various doctors up and until I needed the surgery) and a result is living with chronic daily pain every day of my life and also dysfunction. I really regret being led astray. But I am hopeful life can get better.

Consider a low FODMAP diet. I just started a strict elimination diet myself. I cooked ground beef with a taco packet from the store and still had IBS symptoms until I remembered FODMAP and lo and behold there's garlic and onion powder in everything! Had to get a Monash approved taco seasoning from Amazon. I'm also going to try some of those anti-bacterial and anti-fungal herbs also to see if that helps too...One other thing to look into is Jeff T. Bowles and the high dose Vitamin D3 cure...
